Dear Srikanth,

Wow !! What a great analysis !! Your analysis is 95% correct.

The native does not belong to a "formal" religious order or guru-shishya parampara but his life reflects something akin to it. The native's knowledge, inclinations & interests are essentially as predicted by
you.

The native has never been ambitious, always laid back and contented.
Circumstances ensured a comfortable life free from want from birth right upto adulthood. The father was a major, highly positive supporting & guiding influence. The mother was also very loving and played a good
supportive role.

The native had good English education but went through a basic college degree routinely at age 20, not even making an effort to get cutting edge professional qualifications. Although highly intelligent, the native was laid back, living one day at a time. Casual efforts made at passing various competitive exams for entry in banks, army etc failed. At 23, the native
was still unemployed with no clear idea of what he will do.

Notice that ONLY Saturn as 10th lord in moolatrikona in the 11th gives the 10th house strength in this chart.

In Jan 1988, the native by chance came across a professional course relating to the marine field. See 4th lord moon in swakshetra in Navamsa in watery Cancer signifying oceans.

In Sun-Saturn, the native joined the marine course & made very rapid progress. However, good career prospects were still far away. By the end of Sun dasa however, the native got a professional marine certificate & started looking for a specific job.

Moon-moon gave a career start in a premier oil exploration giant (Saturn indicating oil; in 11th house in strength representing a very powerful, wealthy employer; saturn representing oil & public sector). The excruciating uncertainty of permanent employment was perhaps because of sade sathi shani, the much feared 7 1/2 yr saturn cycle. The native was put through intense change & upheaval in many ways with no light visible at the end of the tunnel. New moon birth may have intensified the experience.

When Saturn moved out of sade sathi phase & entered Aquarius, almost out of the blue, circumstances made it possible for a highly placed elder sibling to help the native. ...to be continued

(continued)...from my previous post...

In Jan 1994, in moon-rahu, the native was absorbed in permanent employment in the public sector oil giant. Life became secure & stable
for the long term.

The breakthrough came on account of help from the brother older to the immediately older sibling (11th from 11th ie:9th house).

Obstacles in the way of job security & long term employment disappeared altogether by a purely circumstantial helping hand from high places. Maybe poorva janma punya represented by the 9th house.

Typical of strong Saturn's discipline and austerity, the native himself ensured that the high influence be used only to regularise the native in permanent employment in the job he was already doing. More attractive options though offered to him were turned down by him.

Since then, Saturn has given him a slow & steady rise in rank & income.

The native has been able to thrive in a job that calls for high alertness &
concentration along with extended periods of intense solitude. (Saturn). He has a low profile job of far reaching significance (again Saturn). In a situation which many would find intolerably lonely or boring, the native is perfectly at ease and thriving (Strong Saturn). See Saturn occupying own varga several times in 11th from Lagna, 3rd from Sun & Moon, 6th from Lagna lord.

For 2 weeks every month, he lives & works at sea (4th lord Moon in own navamsa in Cancer).

In conclusion, the native has Saturnian qualities in full measure - an intense love of solitude, high discipline, seriousness etc as shown by Saturn in own trimsamsa. Saturn is also lord of karakamsa occupying that sign as also lord of Arudha Lagna. The native's dedication to & command over his work commands respect from one & all. No one takes him lightly. His tough nature & decisiveness make good people respect him & bad people fear him. Saturn in 11h is said to produce a person who will be "feared & respected".

Saturn in 11th in own sign has bestowed Mahabhagya Yoga.
Although the person has neither cutting edge education nor ambition, Saturn has single-handedly given a well paid, independent, secure, comfortable, stable & satisfying job to the native with benefits from his employer getting better with every passing day.

Two benefic planets in 8th house call for caution.Circumstaces may sometimes be not upto the expectation.Saturn in the 11th is aspecting lagna with 3 rd full aspect, not good for health.

Saturn occupies moolatrikona & his own varga several times. Hence he is very strong. There is a dictum that says that general rules indicating evil give opposite results when the concerned planet is in own house, moolatrikona or exaltation. Thus, in this case, Saturn strengthens and protects lagna and 8th house. Further, swakshetra or exalted 10th lord aspecting lagna is said to produce a raja yoga. Of course, the native displays strong Saturnian qualities like love of solitude, self discipline,
a serious & silent disposition etc. These, because Saturn is in own sign, become a source of strength. The native climbs up in life slowly but steadily and what is once achieved is never lost, permanence being a quality of Saturn. What Saturn gives stays for life, good or bad. In this case, it is immense good.

Hi,

Your Saturn is lord of 7th & 8th in 8th house. 8th rules sudden setbacks. Saturn is the natural karaka of sorrow. His placement in the 8th house makes him potent in performing his natural function. That is what Saturn gave you. However, PLEASE NOTE that because he is in Aquarius, the harm may have been contained significantly and you may have emerged relatively unscathed. Even amidst misfortune, Saturn would have protected you. You have lived to tell the tale.

The setback was on account of 2 reasons: Saturn's functional lordship ie: lordship of 7th and 8th houses and and his 8th placement (8th = sudden setback on account of accumulated bad karmas from past lives).

Saturn jolted you suddenly as lord of 7th & 8th in the 8th but because he was in Aquarius, he also protected you and saved you. You have lived to tell the tale. If Saturn was in a sign other than own house or exaltation, the tale may have ended differently.

I reserve further comments until I have seen the entire chart.

Regards,

Ashok

Hi Revribhav,

Your lagna lord is well fortified in the 10th house - Moon in Aries for Cancer Lagna, aspected by lord of the house Mars, aspected by swakshetra Venus from Libra and by swakshetra Saturn from Aquarius.
So lagna lord is exceptionally strong in the 10th house which is why you
have enjoyed a stable posting of your choice for 21 years. You have 4th and 5th lords combining in the 5th house, Malavya Maha purusha Yoga in the 4th house, Venus also giving a powerful Adhi Yoga, Further, lagna and 10th lords (also 5th lord) are in Mutual aspect generating an excellent Raja Yoga. Rahu is exalted and vargottama in the 11th house. All these positive factors would have given you a comfortable life and a good position.

However, there are a few factors that may be troublesome.
The most troublesome factor is perhaps the direct mutual aspect
between arch enemies Sun & Saturn. Saturn in lord of 7th and 8th
and is also retrograde. He is posited in the 8th house. Sun is lord
of 2nd house (livelihood), posited in the 2nd. Further, 3rd and 12th
lord Mercury joins Sun and aspects Saturn. Obviously, Saturn will
bring trouble. Also note lord of 9th (and 6th ) in the 12th house.

The "misery" you speak of relates to 8th lord Saturn aspecting lagna
lord moon in the 10th house and 8th lord Saturn in mutual aspect with 2nd lord Sun. Saturn's placement in Aquarius and Jupiter's aspect on it protects and redeems the situation to a significant extent. Also, lord of
7th (desire) goes to 8th (misery). Your desire to avoid transfer leads
to misery.

It seems your unwillingness to go on transfer is leading to trouble.
This brings you in direct conflict with higher authority (Sun). Note that
it is not career per se that is troublesome but the transfer issue and
your unwillingness to be transferred that becomes the source of trouble.
Saturn being in Aquarius and Jupiter's aspect on Saturn are the only redeeming features. Sat-Sat & Sat-Merc may continue to be troublesome. Slight relief may come in Venus sub period due to the excellent placement of Venus. Your unwillingness to be transferred may
continue to bring conflict with higher authorities throughout Saturn
dasa due to Saturn's malefic lordship, house placement and direct opposition with Sun. Note that transit Saturn is transiting your natal
sun sign triggering conflict with higher authority indicated in the natal
chart and by current dasa-bhukti.

Maybe you should reconsider your attitude towards your transfer.
A transfer may even improve your career prospects in the long
run as your 10th house is well fortified with the lagna lord very
strong in the 10th house in a moveable rasi.

Ashok

It is not my individual dispute anymore to accept the transfer. The struggle assumes significance as the Company abolished ("recategoriesed" in their language)our technical post to a general one of lower qualification. All the other persons who occupied the post are hoping for a decision in my favour to revive the post.
Secondly,I am unable to leave home as both the children (excellent in studies) are with me and their mother,a govt officer, is employed 400 km from home.

Ashokji,

How do you read the LL Mars in 6th house? How has that affected the native & his growth?
