But as far as I know I think Vishnu Sahasrnamam can be a very good remedy for this because I myself have been able to check out its positive effects

The best remedy for Mercury is to chant/hear Vishnu Sahasranaam! And if possible do that several times a day.
Another remedy - Use the edible alum to clean you teeth. Every morning use a bit of alum on your teeth, be careful, otherwise it can adversely affect your gums.
Try to develop good relations with your mother's brother.
On every Wednesday you can fast too. Give away green grass to cows.
Buy a parrot and fly it in jungle.
In a flowing river drop a small copper coin every wednesday morning.
