saturn in twelth in horoscope but exalted

Hello ,this query is regarding my friends son .he is born on february 15 , 2012 at 2 :56 a :m in jalandhar (punjab) india . somebody told her he is running saturn dasha and it will last for nineteen years .how would be his saturn dasha ,because it is exalted and in twelth house .
