Thanks for your efforts, with my little knowledge of astrolgy I am in agreement with your observations. Your analysis is right but I will request you to answer few more questions,before that I will give you an idea about my proposed profession, I am a CA qualified in 2008,as have taken long time to complete the course & with frequent breaks in jobs,I am finding it difficult to get a good job & inclined to go for the profession.

My question are as under

1 My Mars MD is starting from May 12(recently) , do you see any serious health issues or mishaps either fatal or having impact of decreasing working capacity ( Mars being lord of 10thhouse,placed in 8th house)

2 Your observation re LL in 6th house is correct in respect of competition. I have faced severe competition in my life on job front like adamant bosses, un coperative collegues etc. So far I have not faced any serious health issues to which you are giving priority therefore I will request to analyse my chart on the basis of principles mentioned in your post

3 How do you see job chances in my chart & which period will be good for me financially?

4 Due to deb mercury & Jupiter in d10 is their any fear of facing disciplinary action & spoiling my reputation?
or getting involved in an unwanted situation due to mistakes/misrepresentations by other people.

5 Whether partnership is suitable for me as per my chart?I am aware that astrologically every thing is going against starting own work/profession but as I do not have much option, planning for it .Also there is less chances of incurring cash losses in profession like this but one has to guard himself against kind of risks mentioned in point no4 therefore request you to give clear answers though it may be against my view.

Here're my observations:
1. LL in 6H indicates health issues or competitiveness. The reason why i stressed on health is coz of:
a) LL is in 6H. As its very close to Sun, despite its exaltation in D-9, its not that powerful.
b) Lagna(body) aspecetd by 8L Sat as well as 6L Jup.
c) From Mon, LL Jup is in 12H.

2. Mars is YK in ur chart. Though its posited in 8H and aspecetd by 8L Sat, as per my understanding it can give u following results:
a) 10L in 8H gives change/break in service. This can be the time for some change in ur career.
b) Since Mars is vargottam I dnt think it will spoil ur reputation or give health problems.
c) In May when Mars MD will start, Mars & Jup will be involved in making DKA yoga. Mars from leo will aspect 9H and 9L Jup in transit will be in 10H. Sat from libra wil also aspect 10H. So transit wise all planets are connecting to 10H and it'll be the dasha of 10L. So reaults related to 10H are expecetd, not health problems.
d) After June 22, Mars will enter into Virgo where it got SAV score of 6/43 (excellent) and it'll aspect 10h too. It shd give gud results.

3. Mer & Jup, though debilitated in D-10 but are neech bhang as Mer is with exalted Ven and Jup is aspected by its lord Sat. I feel it indicates struggle after success.

4. Partnership is indicated by 7H. Rahu in 7H is known for creating misunderstandings. 7L Sat is retro (unpredictable). I doubt whether partnership will be gud for you.

Very true. Many professions now a days. Very difficult to pin point.

Can you examine my chart. I think its an interesting one. My 6L is quite strong conjuncted with 9th lord in the 2nd house. I want to know how it will play out. What I have learned about myself though in the previous year and half is that I don't think I can work under someone. I'm not sure if that's me. I usually have disappointments with my bosses and I have suffered due to that.

Principle 5: 4 planets Sun, Mars, Mer, Jup improve in D-9.
Principle 6: Sun & Mars influence LL Mer.
Principle 7: Sat is 6L & aspect LL Mer, hence connecting to both.

Though almost principles are satisfied but still lets analyse ur D-10 chart:
1. LL Sat is debilitated and conjunct 5L/10L YK Ven and 3L/12L Jup.
2. Conjunction of YK Ven with LL Sat is a rajyoga. LL/2L Sat & 9L Mer aspect Lagna, this is another rajyoga.

In D-9 chart:
LL exalted Sun & 10L Ven are conjunct in 9H, a great rajyoga.

Present dasha: Rahu-Moon
Rahu & Moon are conjunct in 9H. Though they're bitter enemies in chart but since both are placed in 9H, their maleficence is reduced. Further famous Parashari principle is "Whenever Rahu is in trine & get aspected by kendra lord, it is a great rajyoga". Here Rahu is in 9H & get aspecetd by 4L/7L Jup.

Moon is exalted 11L placed in 9H, a great dhan toga.

I think all combinations are indicating great career. You shd go ahead for own work.

Thank you so much for replying back so soon. Yes, I do want to venture into my own work. I currently have been looking to become a Financial / Investment Advisor. My current dasa of Rahu-Moon, has been quite trivial. However, as you said, being in the 9th house, (natural benefic), the malefic results have been subdued. Income has gone down significantly but never out of money. I have done temporary projects here and there which have given me handsome raises.

1 point each to 7 principles so to arrive at any decision one need to score more than 50% i.e more than 3.5

In respect of my chart

Principle 1=0
P2 =0.50 (As 3L & 9L, though not 9h conjunct)
P3 = 0.75(2L,9L,11L in same sign)
P4 =0.25(more planets aspecting Lagna though malefic like Rahu & Shani)
P5 =0.75 (Mars is Vargottam & Moon exalted in D9 but with Rahu & Mars is placed badly)
P6 =0
P7 =1 (Aspect of saturn on Lagna)

Total =3.25, marginally short to start own work & no idea about strength of Indu Lagna.

The principles are applicable in ur chart. With 3 vargottam planets (Mer, Ven & Moon) ur chart is promising.
The exchange between 8L Ven & 10L Moon is unwanted. But from Moon, 10L Sat is in 10H which is very strong.

Guru chadaal yoga is another concern. Rahu in very close deg with Jup is not gud overall (perhaps we've discussed it earlier)

In D-10, Lagna contain debilitated 11L Sun but as LL Ven is exalted it will be considered gud. 10L Moon is in 9H making DKA rajyoga. Rahu in 10H is also gud.

Your present dasha is Sat-Sat. Sat being YK is transiting thry lagna with SAV score of 3/34 (gud).
Transit wise Sat is aspecting 10H and after May 2012 Jup will be on 10L Moon. So that may be a gud time.

There are also quite a few people in family business where their role is closer to that of employees rather than doing business. Do you consider them as being in service?

Second Rahu in 12th house the dispositor of rahu venus is debilitaed in 11th house. Because of this rahu become beneficial, is this true. Can you pl. put your view about rahu in this chart.

I agree to ur observations. Even the people work in day time & in eve they've some shop etc.
Its really difficult to put things in black & white whether a person will go for self work or job.

Whenever Sat aspect 6H, job is for sure. And for own work there must be connection of 3H/L (self efforts) with 9H/L (luck) & 10H/L (profession).

Actually 10H is not for profession, it represents one's karma, 11H represents gains and together they indicate profession. So whenever one is in the dasha of a planet that is connecting to 10H/L or 11H/L its the time for significant improvement in profession.

So majority of the principles are not following.

Indu Lagna Taurus is in 12H and 11th from it is aspected by Sat & Jup. Since Indu Lagna is in 12H, it may indicate expenditures as son as u'll get the money.

Overall service seems more prominent.

Lagna, 5H & 9H are said to be pillars of any chart hence high SAv for these give chart a booost.
2H/6H & 10H represent Arth (money matters) trikona and also denotes service. High SAV score indicate gud money, profession.

But these principles are too general in nature and lack in giving specific info.

As far as principle 7 is concerned, isnt Saturn aspecting house 10 as it is in the 8th house in D-1 chart? Also, you have mentioned that Mars alone is improved in D-9 chart. But in the D-9 chart, all planet but Mars are in kendras ( Jupiter also being in a parivartana yoga, Saturn in own house ). Therefore, don't all planets BUT Mars get improved in D-9?
I would be very grateful if you could assist me in understanding this.

Its my mistake. Yes principle 7 is applicable in ur chart. Now its indications for both in ur chart.
As regard improvement in D-9, I take planet going to their own/mooltrikona/exaltation/friend sign as improvement.
Here Sun goes from Capricorn (enemy) to Taurus (enemy), hence no improvement.
Moon goes from own sign to friend, though no improvement but still ok.
Mars from Taurus (enemy) to Pisces (frnd) is improvement
Mer goes from Sagi (enemy) to Scorpio (enemy), no improvement
Jup goes from exaltation to scorpio, just ok
Ven goes from frnd sign to scorpio ( (enemy), no improvement
Sat goes from own sign to its mool trikona, improved
Hence only Mars & Sat improves, Moon/Jup are ok.
So It can't be said that majority of planets improve.
