Your current dasha is Moon-Jup
Moon is debilitated 6L which may give u results related to profession. There may be competitivenes & some enemy action.
Jup is 2L/11L placed in 10H with Moon making Gaj kesari yoga. From Moon its 2L/5L, a benefic again. In D-9, Jup is exalted and placed with 5L Sun and aspected by 10L/11L Sat.
So this time shd be gud indeed.
The next dasha (from June 2013) of Moon-Sat may be testing period for you as both Moon & Sat are in debilitation, then placed in 6/8 axis. Though in D-9 Sat is exalted but conjunct with Rahu. There's a principle that debilitated planets in 3/6/11H or their lords in debilitation is a rajyoga provided LL is strong. Here you've debilitated Sat in 3H & 6L Moon is also in debilitation but since LL Sat is also debilitated so you've to face these situations.

Your present dasha is Moon (6L debilitated in 10H)-Jup (2L/11L placed in 10H)
Moon is Jamini AmK too, confirming problems in profession.
In D-10 placement of dasha lords is bad. Moon is placed in 8H and Jup as 8L is in exchange with LL Sun. So results are negative. However, Moon & Jup are making Gaj kesari yoga and exaltation of Jup in D-9 maintains the hope of gud results.

The next PD of sat may give you some change as its debilitated in 3H (6th from 10H), exalted in D-9 and in D-10, it is placed in 4H as 6L. Since its 12L too (3rd from 10H signifying journey & hence transfers) results related to change/transfer may occur.

Last couple of years I have been trying hard in my career front but nothing really happened, I tried business it didnt work even on work front the growth was very sluggish infact it was completely stalled. From feb this year there has been some signs of improvement but nothing to the scale of my expecation and the effort I have put in. Now I am taking up a course which will last 2-3 years in the view that this will give me an additional qualification and will enhance my CV.

Hi Dheerpat,
I really feel you shouldn't have resigned.

1) You resigned shortly after the Mo-Sa period started for you. Both are deb in your chart and in a 6-8 relationship (shadashtak). Both are sworn enemies. Plus Moon is 6H lord. So this period doesn't promise to be great.

2) Inherently too, in your natal chart, 10L Mars is in 12th to itself i.e. in the 9H -> not good. It is also aspected by a deb Sa. Ju in general is said to be 'not-useful' for Aq lagna folks.

3) Now coming to current transit of Sa-Ra. I am also Aq lagna and hoping this Sa-Ra transit in 9H should be good. But with Ra, always expect the unexpected. Plus, for you, the transit of Sa is over its enemy i.e. natal Mars (your 10L). Again these transits though are happening 9th to your asc but they are 12th to your Moon (mahadasha lord). So mixed effects.
Currently, even Ju is also transiting 8th to itself and the natal Moon for your chart.
Sade-Saati also continues for some more years.

4) Non-astrologically speaking -> Job market continues to be weak due to both micro and macro factors. This has made landing a job (espe for senior folks) that much more difficult.

Maybe period of Mo-Sa-Ve starting in Dec-13 will bring good news (Ve is yogakarak for Aq and is placed in own sign). Senior members may also provide insights on favorable period for landing next job.

Hi dr niraj thanx for revert i almost forgot this post and suddenly revisited and saw ur revert. Guess thats what sadesati is all about well 4 months now without job ,rejected in interviews , surviving on my pf money dont know what will happen when that is exahusted. I would not have left the job if my request for tranfer was accepted guess they (planets and the company) wanted me to suffer
Nyway as God wishes MYwife suggests that we should open a small shop and start some business but i am so afraid seeing this sade sati that i dont have the courage to invest money
What do u suggest , should i , if yes how about in her name ( she is 19/08/1973 11:09 AM MUmbai, libra ascdt aries moon) what shuld be the line of business(she says ladies novety hosiery shop)

In your case, Saturn-Rahu Gochar is giving effect from your Moon chart, not from your Lagna chart. This means Saturn-Rahu in Libra are giving you the 12th house effect - so too the Sadhe sati. Besides, you are a Scorpio Rashi, which is the enemy Rashi for Saturn in Sadhe Sati.

This is a trying period for you and you have to be patient and very frugal till the Sadhe Sati ends and Saturn reaches Capricorn. Recite Hanuman Chalisa daily and wear yellow sapphire 4.5 carats set in gold. Jupiter should give you the benefic effects if you wear yellow sapphire.

Your wife is running a very good Gochar in her Lagna and her Sun Antardasha which is about to begin in October will give her financial gains. I don't know if hosiery business is best for her, but study the market to see what kind of business is likely to give the best gains and then she can go into a small business. Perhaps home delivery of food is a better idea.

for my wife , since i cannot vouch for her cooking skills, home del food is bad idea :}.How about a shop selling ice creams, cold drinks and baked stuff like puffs etc will do? (no cooking onsite)

workwise I feel I am the best and also the best paid at what I do..but since Saturn/rahu entered my 2nd house over natal sun/ mer(langa lord) I am facing slack..so I am putting all my efforts to expand and become diverse in my own field..

its easier to work/expand/diversify on something u already have knowledge of and know the pitfalls due to yrs of slogging..a new business may not pan out the way u want because u haven't seen the pitfalls yet..

I believe in astrology but you have to apply 50% of ur logical mind too..
