Can somebody please tell me whether or not this chart indicates marriage to somebody who is already known? And if a chart indicates marriage to a person already known by the native, approximately how long prior to the marriage will the native get to know the future partner (a miminum of a year, 6 months,..?)?

Dear Zara,

Just superficially from the details you provided, it determination of whether you already know the person you are to marry or not, in my humble opinion 7th lord and those in conjuction or aspect of it can provided clues. Navamsha chart is of importance as well. Your 7th lord is Mars, with Sun and Mercury in conjunction and Jupiter in aspect. Based on this it is possible that friends and/or siblings may know who this person is. It is possible that your maternal side of the family may possibly help in securing this alliance. Jupiter as being 3rd and 6th lord is not likely very beneficial in your horoscope. Sitting the 7th creates the struggles you are facing. Saturn likely seems to check some of this via its 10th aspect on the 7th and that as yogakaraka (but this may cause slowing of the process). Have you tried Thursday fasting, or other possible remedies?

The problem is because of 12th house placed Gulika. This Gulika takes up the body of Mercury and acts. Here Mercury who is 9th and 12th lord in 3rd retro becomes Gulika, it is no more planet Mercury. Please note Saturn is aspecting that Gulika.

Now check your D-60, your 7th lord is with Mars and Gulika and see that 9th lord is in 8th, which goes to show the issue. Now, you are having same problem in getting married with that presently placed Jupiter in retro in 7th aspected by Saturn there. Please note your pleasure lord, i.e., the 4th lord and 5th lord saturn is retro in 10th, which is not good at all and it is aspecting the same 4th house. Why? See Saturn aspecting the 12th situated Gulika and moreover you have 3 retro planets, which goes to show the issues.

These retro planets will frustrate and sometimes, give no chance for the native or delay things to the maximum extent depending upon one's karma.

Are you able to pick up the matter?

Most of the astrologers fail to pick out the exact diagnosis for the problem and they are missing out most of the times, the Gulika part and its related planet. It has much much more to say. It can control all the planets and can create such havocs which are beyond to anybody's knowledge.

Once you find a permanent solution to that Gulika, you will have good life. Till that time, it will keep on creating issues from time-to-time.

I have tried feeding birds, cultivating a bonzai, placing a water containing vessel near my bed etc. But I think those remedies were mostly meant to mitigate the negative effects of Ketu in 7th, not for the delay and hurdles that I'm facing. Will fasting on thursday's help to improve Jupiter?

Just a bit, with difficulty. But I get your point, Gulika being the most malefic entity in a chart isn't doing great things in my chart either . Isn't Yamakantaka (the most beneficial entity in a chart?) preventing some of the damage somehow? Are there oher ways to atone for bad past lifetime karma, like fasting, rather then just having to go through so much misery?

Hey, we human beings fast to please the Almighty, to appease planets, to appease Lords, to shed materialism, to come back to basics and cleanse our soules, to understand the hunger and poverty of others, to envoke the light of compassion and sympathy within us, to rid the body of toxics..... we even have started to fast to fight against corroption now . So why not also consider to fast to atone for bad karmic deeds? Ok, I don't think everything will be forgiven and forgotten if you fast for only 1 day, somehow I think it will take a little bit longer than that, but poochne main aur try karne main kia jaata hai na? You know the saying "marta kia na karta"

In my humble opinion, it would apply to first marriage. It can impact subsequent relationships, but the impact is diminished on each further alliance, as other houses become involved as well.

It may help with appeasement much as pooja and mantra can. But fasting, in my humble opinion, has a role in this as well. I have recommended it to a multitude of people who have asked my guidance in reading their horoscopes over the many years, and most have seen very good results with it. Karma in this life is intertwined and much connected with our history and past karma. It may well be that fasting in this situation helps 'rectify' the specific bad karma in a previous life that has caused your specific obstacle here. Fasting on Thursdays is for Jupiter and God Vishnu as well. Not saying it is a sure shot in your case, but it may help in attentuating the malefic effects. Just my humble thoughts...

Zaraji, why Jupiter became 3rd and 6th lord? It is because of your Gulika. Unless, you find a permanent solution for that Mercury body of Gulika, no mantra or puja or any fasting will give you permanent solution. I have only question to you, do u want a permanent solution to things or temporary only? Appeasing Vishnu or Guru is okay, but will that problem get over due to that? Guru can show a permanent solution provided u are able to accept that with both hands.

When Lord is present in you, who is the very source of your energy due to which you are seeing everything, hearing everything and even your food etc..is digested by the steam engine called Vaishawanara or Jadara Agni, to whom are u fasting upon?

Lord clearly says "Aham Pachami" I am the one who is digesting the food in four ways viz. Pranan, Apanan, Samanan and Udanan. Try to find, who is that "Aham" Dont try to mistake it with the false ego though. Once you find, you will have answer for all your questions.

The present placement of all planets in your chart is because of simply that Gulika. It is because of that only, your lagna is afflicted with Rahu and Kethu in 7th as well. You do not have patience to hear because your Rahu is jumping upon things..not ready to listen.

Once you find a permanent solution for that Gulika, all planets will go and stand in good placement as good house lords. This is the key. Now, you should know how to open the door. If you dont know, I cant help it anymore.

I think the answer to this will depend on the religious belief a individual is following/practising. For Christians, muslims the Almighty will be one single God, for hindu's, where there are multiple deity's, the concept of Lordship will be more prominent, with Lord Vishnu as the supreme Lord. And if you believe that in the end religion is basically all about being a good human being, living in harmony with everyone, than imo you can also state that they are all means to the same end.

Don't tell me that all the sadhu's, saints and baba's who draw themself back from this materialistic earthly life, go for meditation in seclution for a long periods of time without food and water just do this because they really have nothing better to do with their time. Food, consumption is just one of the desires which they try to overpower, to control. The main reason is to change our focus, which is exceedingly on the outerworld, to our inner selves. Imho, it can affect the soul, perhaps even change our future conduct/behaviour and with that, in any case, future karma. There certainly will be souls for which all the fasting in the world probably won't be of any use. But I don't think that for this reason one should discard it altogether or demeanor it. But that is just my take on it, to each it's own as they say.

If that is to be true, than there basically is no point in talking about salvation/mukti/heaven and hell, is there? The whole karma concept only becomes a vicious cycle in which man is trapped and never will be able to get out. Because he can't change his soul, his spirit, so he won't be able to change or even wish to change his actions either. Good souls won't ever attain a higher state of being, and not so good souls will never get out of misery. To me, that doesn't seem logical. But once again, that is just my take on it.

Gulika is a spirit. It is shown as GK in the Jhora, though I do not know what it is marked as in other softwares. It is also called as Maandi.

Yes, definitely. Gulika acts through Rahu-Kethu-Saturn-Mars and co. in the form of karmic debts or karmic backlog. Sometimes, even Jupiter gets affected.

Gulika has sukshama sharira through which it roams in air. There are several and several types of spirits in number, more than 1000 or 10000 plus.

Permanent solution for Gulika is to make it divine by giving it Moksha is what as far as I came to know which only Lord can do. When I say Moksha, I mean it. If you ask is there such a plane of existence and things, when you experience only then only u will come to know. Till then, no matter whatever I say, the other person will think that I am only fooling around.

It wont bend 100% by another solutions or pariharas other than Moksha, though it all will give temporarily relief.

See, everything in life is experience. There are many many many many things in this world which are not able to hear, not able to see, not be able to experienced by human beings. There are in fact many things which cannot be explained merely by words or writing here as well as nobody can understand it.

Question: Please throw some light on the Ghost-world. Does it exist?
Answer: Yes. It does exist. It is only the interim stage when, after giving up the physical
body, the soul has not yet taken the next body. Then, we live in a subtle condition. The Vasanas,
Samskaras, all the subtle portions of the mind are there. Therefore that subtle thing has got the same
nature, same likes and dislikes, as the person when he was living on earth.
Just as some Karmas are worked out in the physical body, some other Karmas are worked
out in the Preta Sareera also. That is what we call the heaven and the hell.
If the person has committed some extremely heinous negative action, then in the Preta-state,
he is sometimes caught up. He has to remain in that state for a long time. His nature is so bad that he
cannot remain quiet. And so, sometimes he causes trouble to people, always haunts such localities
where he had been accustomed to indulge himself while living here. These are the bad Pretas. They

from her miserable condition.
Even now there are Pretas wandering about us. There is no necessity to fear Pretas. Those
who lead a pure life, who do Gayatri Japa and are devoted to God, cannot be troubled by even the
bad Pretas.
Normally the Pretas remain as such for a considerable time. But, when a man has very
intense desires in connection with some unfulfilled work, sometimes he is immediately born. But,
usually a long period of time elapses, and we have to bear in mind that the computation of time in
the Preta-world is not the same as ours—their years are much longer from our point of view.
