I do feel that mercury and moon are strong for the following reasons:
I love mathematics and numbers and have been very good at it, I also have lots of sense of humor and I attribute all this to mercury.
The person whom I loved the most is my mother, also I am good and fond of learning different languages, good at singing and so on, all this may be due to moon. Also I become loner all of a sudden due to circymstances though I hate to be loner.

Yes, I have face troubles from emotional bonding, I have face lot of troubles with investment too.

Whenever you follow the advice (given by someone), You always failed even after follow the advice (not in all cases but most of cases) Right??

This is quite right too, but then mostly I dont follow others advice but whenever I followed, mostly it did not work.

I do not know interpretation of this.
Anyway I went to Jhora and checked for many horoscopes in the data stored mostly the ones with queries and other popular ones here.

I have noted several having 5th or 9th house in MB and some in 7th from the set of horoscopes stored in my database(some in 7th).

Also wrt to planets, I observed people having Su, mo, ju, ke in MB, of course these are random set of horoscopes but what I felt was it was common and so I thought better discussion from experts would be good.

Hi All,

I have a Mithuna Lagna

Lagna Lord - in 5th House in Conjunction with Venus ( Lord of 5th House ).

Moon in Purva Phalguni (venus's nakshatra) in Leo in 3rd house.

Mercury in Chitra Nakshatra

Venus in Visakha Nakshatra.

Mars (Chitra's lord ) is exalted in the 8th house. Exalted Mars aspects 3rd House.

Jupiter , retrograde,( Visakha's Lord ) in 9th House. Aspects Moon in 3rd House.

Jupiter aspects lagna and 5th house.

Weak Gaja Kesari ( retrograde jupiter + waning moon in 3rd ).

Atma karaka and putra karaka in 5th house - raja yoga

1st lord + 5th lord together in 5th house - raja yoga.

No planets in MB and Fateful Degree.

Observations:

I failed art & craft in primary school and secondary school. i suck at playing musical instruments. I graduated from my polytechnic with a diploma in accounting & finance, and then further on , with a bachelor in business administration and economics.

I highly doubt that with a relatively strong 5th house, i have actually excelled in fine arts and music. i have instead rather excelled more in commerce and logistics.

Any insights?

If you want to see if you have interest in music/arts, I recommend starting from navamsa trines.
Check your fifth house in D9.
Check status of rasi 2 and 5th house lords in D1 and D9.
Check what planets are in your D9 trines.
Check the trines especially 5H planets from your karakamsa in D9.

Ve is good in rasi, in D9 it is placed in inimical sign of Mars(aries) and it is placed in 3H of D9. Not a giver of musical talent. Ju and Ve are not exactly friends.

Now you are saying you are more interested in commerce/logistics/business/trade. Let us see if this is evident. I can see it very clearly.

See ME in your chart. Your Me is well placed on D1 and D9 trines in friends house and in very good company.

It is lagna lord and vargottama, placed in friends house with Ve(swakshetri) in D1 in 5H a trine,
In D9 it is placed with exalted friend Saturn in 9H again a trine. This is giving you the commerce related skills. No doubt you excel in trade/commerce/logistics.

Rasi chart your physical /material existance/reality. D9 chart has different purpose. All D chart are subservient to your material/physical reality represented by rashi chart. They help us how you feel about what you have acual physically received from your rasi chart or help us zoom on specific area of your rasi chart. No D chart is more important than rasi chart itself.

For interest, deriving happiness, creativity, talent, satisfaction I refer to D9 chart. It is also used to access marriage, dharma, realtionship.

I may be a very good artist , may derive a lot of satisfaction from arts but in real life i may be a doctor or lawyer.
D9 trines show abilities your are born with. D9 kendras show what can support you if you work on them.
D9 trines also tell what you truely enjoy doing.

D1 shows your material reality.
I'll give a very simple example.
Say your tenth lord is exalted and 10th houese has exalted planet. In that case you may be at a very high position in your organization and doing very well. But you may not actually enojy doing what you do.
Rasi chart shows your material reality, D9 shows how you feel about it. It is interesting but complex.

The importance of a Healthy Shukra has been stressed time and again for music; But Shukra gives you an interest in Music. It does not help you become a musician per se. Yes, you need a healthy Shukra to arouse that inclination and sustain an interest towards music, but for a musician there are 4 other planets that need to be strong. When I mean music my emphasis is on instruments, more than voice.

There are two kinds of musicians, one category can only reproduce what other famous artists have created and the other category belongs to musicians that create original music.

1. Budha. The planet who rules Dexterity. It also rules verbal communication. Budha also rules Skill and reproduction of what has been absorbed by the mind. You need a certain skill and dexterity to play an instrument. For example, take a look at this clip below, this is Sungha Jung who is playing a cover version of ""Hotel California,"" which in my opinion has some of the toughest notes to play. It is so tough, even experienced guitarists tremble in fright when it comes to playing the lead. You need amazing skill on the fret board to reproduce the lead notes so accurately. Needless to say, His Budha is exalted in the Rashi chart with Rahu, - thus an interest in music which is foreign to his culture.

2. Kuja - the man of logic and the man who can keep the beat in time with the tune. Goal directed energy, courage (so important when you are on stage) passion, action vim and vigour. In Sungha Jung's case, Both Shukra and Kuja are Vargothama and in Pushkara Navamsha. Kuja gets a Neecha Bhanga because it is in a Parivarthana yoga with The house lord Chandra and is in a Kendra from Chandra.
3. Guru - Expansion of what has already been made, the wisdom to improvise on the old and Joviality - so important for music. Guru is the karaka for ""good powers of judgement"“, very critical when you are playing with 5 other musicians on stage.

And finally the Moon. Oh what can we do without him? Receptivity, sensitivity, imagination, good memory. All important to be a good musician.

P.S. - you need an exceptional 3rd house and 5th house to be a good musician. Never forget that.

Girishneswar ji, I took the 3rd house as an important house because it rules Dexterity, the Hands, the arts, communication and great prowess physical and mental.

The 5th, I thought was important because it rules intelligence and the Intellect. It also rules discernment and discrimination. When you move your hands on the fret board, you need to ensure that the right fingers form the right cord. That Needs a lot of discrimination.Another 5th house signification is that of ""creativity"" be it pro creation,or creating art, poetry or music.

If I was to consider the 11th house, it would only be to see if the artist is making money out of his passion that is music, or , to see if his gains from other sources are so profound, that he spends his time indulging in a passion, in this case being a musician. Being a Good Musician requires one to practice constantly and that needs time and effort. You cant be a good musician if you slog your butt off from 8.00 - 20.00 Hrs on a daily basis on another career rather than being a musician.

Interesting in my case is that, in my childhood I was very talented in tabla and drum instruments. I was also talented in drawing. My teachers and parents all thought I would become an artist. However I was never really much interested in arts, but just practiced them during classes. Academics, languages, shlokas, sciences interested me a lot more. I also had a very nice voice. Even won some singing competitions at school. I never practiced singing though. Later I played the violin for 4 years, even though i started pretty late (13 yrs old) my teacher said I had immense talent for playing the violin and I should continue he even said I could do it as a proffession. However I was just not interested at all I simply went because my parents wanted me to play an instrument, I didnt practice at all and I spent all my time studying maths and sciences and engaging in sports.
Now occasionally I play drums and dholak when we do some Bhajanams at home and it goes pretty well.

My shukra is in 6th house marana karaka sthanam in D1, and neecha in 2nd in D9. I don't know where all my musical and drawing talent comes from.

Another point. 5th represents musical instruments. By bhavata bhavam principle it is third from third.
Sun also represents musical intruments and the knowledge of such. Fifth house also represents right hands and hence ties to skills related to playing instruments.

Third house is required for expression and projection of any skill hence very important.

I sing classical music and also play violin and keyboard, harmomonium etc.
I have taught more than 100 students who came on their own but I stopped teaching since I neither want to make an earning out of it at present nor do I want people flocking around me in case I make it free.
Anyway I have been told I have a wonderful voice and even when I sing somewhere in a temple, people ask me for my mobile no and ask if I can teach them or their family members. This happened even 2 days back.

I am very confident about my musical skills, love music and have been giving concerts wherein I am invited and dont go searching for chances.

3rd house has Mars (owner of 2nd and 7th houses), 4th house has Mercury (owner of 9th and 12th houses), 5th House has Sun (owner of 11th house) and Ketu, 11th House has Rahu, Moon (owner of 10th house) in Libra Lagna & swati nakshatra, and finally exalted Venus (owner of 1st and 8th houses) in Pisces 6th house. 7 planets in 7 rasis, so he likes music Retrograde Jupiter in 9th house owning 3rd and 6th house. Mercury, Venus and Mars in Kendras in the Navamsa. Was running Jupiter mahadasa in the days of the Beatles upto 1975. I found his birthtime from the internets, so please forgive me if this is inaccurate.
