Combinations for Travel/Stay away from place of birth

Sometimes, it is very tempting to take dictum as blanket rules and reach a conclusion, which is why most of the astrologers stress the importance of analyzing after reviewing the entire chart. This is a very good example. All the factors listed above can point to travel/stay away from place of birth and knowing the native is also running a Ra MD, one may be tempted to predict the same. However, when you look at the chart, things will be clearer.

Here, I also want to mention that 12th house/lord plays a crucial role in permanent exile/abandonment from one’s place of birth. Then comes 9th and the last is 7th. 7th house is primarily known for whom you interact/attract like spouse, business partners, etc. Thus, 7th house plays a crucial role for marriage and relationships. Rahu in 7th, one may be interacting/attracting foreign people or business matters or people with different culture, basically anything foreign to the native. Ra is also vargottam indicates a strong desire/attraction to foreign things.

Coming back to the topic of this thread, there is no direct association of 7th house and 12th house. 7L, Saturn aspects 12L Moon, placed in 2nd house of financial gains but in a fixed sign of Virgo. 9L, Mars is placed in 8th house, which is 12th to 9th, thus loss to 9th. 9th also stands for dharma/religion and thus the native may be a rebellion. Their mutual aspects may also indicate that the native may be averse to certain norms of religion. 9L also happens to be 4L, which means 4L is aspecting 12L. So now let’s focus on 4H, which is quite strong. Ascendant is vargottam and placed in fixed sign. Ascendant lord, Sun is well – placed in 4th house. It is also in conjunct with Mercury, 11L (financial gains) and 2L of wealth. It will auspicious for the native to stay at place of birth. This is further supported by navamsa, which shows Mars in 4th house and aspecting Moon, which is exalted in 10th house in navamsa. Venus is placed in own house Libra (3rd house). Indicates short journeys.

To summarize, I would say that the person has a strong desire for foreign travels or foreign things/people but is not a frequent traveler. Native’s profession and/or financial gains may be related to foreign matters especially connected with land. Short journeys related for business or pleasure is possible. Here foreign means, anything that is not in the norm of conventional perception to the native. Foreign does not necessarily mean non-India/n.

On a different note, Moon is aspected by Mars and Saturn. Retro Jupiter is placed in inimical sign of Venus and also aspects Moon. Native may not have good relations with mother/maternal figure or may be facing some mental anxieties or restlessness. Also, as the native is undergoing Ra MD and has vargottam Ra in 7th house, strong possibility of an unconventional marriage possibly with someone from a different culture or background. Care should be taken as Rahu is a trickster.

I would be surprised if the native is not already away from his place of birth. Moon or Mars dasha should have taken him away from his place of birth. LL and 10L of career and profession is in 12th position (not a ideal position for LL). It is also in conjunct with 2L of wealth and 9L of fate and fortune. 4 & 7L Jupiter is also in 8th house of adversities and aspects 12th house. Such a native should stay away from his place of birth... career, money and dawn of fortune is best if away from place of birth. Also, native will travel and change house frequently.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Moved from Khonsa to Delhi in 1982 (Moon MD). Stated there till 2004 and then came to US (rahu md, Saturn AD) for graduate studies and have been here ever since. You have already indicated that staying away from my place of birth is more suitable for me. I am currently running rahu MD ( which will continue till 2014). Its been a mixed bag, with the last few years of Saturn transit being specially challenging.... How do you think my Jupiter MD will be?

Yes strong chances of travel/stay away from place of birth. You are also undergoing Ra dasha and Ra is in 12th house in a movable sign. IMO, it will keep you on a move. 4th house suffers a loss as its lord is placed 12th to it so constant change of residence is possible.

yes you need to check the strength of the planets in navamsa chart. Navamsa is considered as the fruits of rasi chart.
