Re: The Nakshatras

What is the true meaning ...

according to my observations, lagna nakshatra is generally more evident in the overall personality. Lagna nakshatra relates to ahamkara (ego) while chandra nakshatra relates to manas (mind). Manas is linked to ...

Re: Saturn Mahadasa

Dear members,

in addition to all that has been said in this discussion, may I add that good or bad effects during Saturn maha dashas and transits (e.g. sade sati) largely depend upon our ability to accept the lessons of Shani, which are lessons of patience.

Ayurvedic astrology and the nakshatra dashas

Re: Guru Mahadasha

Dear Neelkumar,

Let me first specify that my approach to astrology is not predictive. Having said this, your chart shows a confluence of factors: everything seems to indicate that during Jupiter Maha dasha, the mental energy of Purva Bhadrapada will strongly manifest in your life. The progressed ...

Re: Astrology and Ayurveda

Thanks for this very valuable elements,
Concerning the relationship between planets and doshas, we can also note that the Moon being primarily Kapha is secondarily Vata in nature.
Therefore:
the sun is pitta
the moon is kapha and vata
mars is pitta
mercury is highly adaptable so vata, but tridoshic ...

Re: Significance of Mystical Number 108

Dear all,
"Did you know (regarding the mystical nature of the number 108) that the distance between the earth and moon is equivalent to 108 moons placed in a row, and the distance between the earth and sun is equivalent to 108 suns in a row...quite amazing!!!"
This is therefore the reason why ...

Ayurveda and Astrology are related,So I dont see we are devaiting from the topic.
There should be more posts on this.
I totally agree with you. As jyotish practitioners, we tend to forget the connection between Vedic astrology and Ayurveda. Actually many believe that Vedic astrology deals ...
