Somewhere I read that planets places in nakshatras of magha give us results of our past life karma based on the house in which that planet is placed and also the karaka of the planet.

But from whatever I have read in this forum, sun and venus conjunction is not always considered bad for marriage.
also it will matter on which planet holds a lower degree and how close are they in conjunction?

I am a Capricorn lagna and I have a full house in 8h Leo with Saturn Venus and Mercury.
With Jupiter transiting Leo and Saturn looking at my 8h from Scorpio and now Raju transiting my 3 natal planets I am feeling as if I am all over the place.

Thanks for your response. Yes I understand the contradictions that exist. My Qs was around venus + mars combination....more because there are so many things that people say about it...some say , its good and some say it gives multiple relationships and hence is not good for a long term ...

Some of the facts mentioned by you are spot on.
My Jupiter is placed in 6H with Mars in ardra nk. I had a court marriage...no priest was present for my marriage.

I had a few Qs on the mars-venus conjunction.

What if the conjunction is in 11th house - Libra (Venus's MK sign) and ...

The thread got me intrigues as my daughter will start her Rahu MD on 12/12/2014.
She was born on 7 nov 2007 at 3:51 PM IST in Powai, Mumbai.
