Hi Learned Members,
I have noticed that most of the people who have Moon placed in the lagna suffer from mental wavering. Moreover, these people want to achieve a lot in their life, but they don't get settled in a single business/profession. Does moon in the lagna creates " Jack of all trades, master of none" kind of situation?
Please advice.

Having moon in lagna, I do have so many different skills but I do know that I could shine much more in one field if I had only concentrated on that. But having so many skills also helps since when there is problems arising from one skill, I could turn to the other one and so on.
I do feel moon gives wavering nature and one with moon in lagna cannot judge a person well.

This conjunction has amplified the problem.
I have moon in the lagna too along with ketu.
To make it worse, my lagna is scorpio so moon is debilated. Its such a torturous situation for me.. I am very sentimental, very prone to emotional hurt.
Sometimes I think, ill lose my mind... The only saving grace and what has kept me sane is Jupiter, which is also in the lagna with moon n ketu.
From my own experience, I think its not a great thing to have moon in the lagna.

Yes, moon in lagna gives an attractive face. I have seen some of my relatives with moon in lagna and then I too have that.
That you are moody, you dont have to specify. It is clearly evident since you have deleted all your oneliners from 'I want to break free' and when I went to read them, there is no continuity and the posts there have become meaningless.

Guys, this is an excerpt from Shri K N Rao's Book 'Learn Astrology - The PAC DARES Method'. Moon in lagna for all 12 rashis.
"This is the most basic psycho-analytical framework with which a Hindu astrologer should start. These should not be applied literally as they undergo at least twenty modifications. Let one such instance of modification be given here.
For Mesha Lagna with the Moon: As the fourth lord in the lagna has a good mother and other domestic comforts.
For Vrisha Lagna with the Moon: Loves to be spiritual but is negligent of serious studies.
For Mithuna Lagna with the Moon: Has a tendency to grow rich, can be obstinate, and does lot of work for others.
For Karka Lagna with Moon: Will be healthy, brave, very fickle and loves to move in the company of the opposite sex.
For Simha Lagna with the Moon: Spendthrift, does bad planning as a result of which loses money.

Thanks Swamycool. See, KNRao is a great astrologer we all know but all his writings may not be available with everyone. To bring in the relavant points in the thread is a great job too and u have been making quite good analysis for many as far as I know. So u deserve the credit anyway

don't necessarily agree with you, though entering into a debate, i have an exalted moon with saturn aspecting it, leading to stress, yes, but it strictly cancels out the yog that you've mentioned.
