Hello everyone
While reading a document on Neecha Bhanga, it stated that "The Debility of a planet gets cancelled if it is exalted in Navamsa"
This made me think about the vice-versa scenario
PPL born in the 1984 period had Saturn exalted in D1, however it is debilitated in D9.
Now my Question is:
1) Does this debility affect the overall strength of the Planet used to interpret its behavior ?
2) Also can we apply the rules of Neecha Bhanga for planets debilitated in navamsa ?

1- Planet exalted in natal but Deb in d-9 loses some of its strength and benefic powers BUT final result is always that of the natal chart and so if planet is exalted and unafflicted in d-1 it will still give good results
2- Yes ,I think we can apply the rules of NBRY to navamsa and also other div chart incl d-10
thx

Dear Ghrishneshwar,
How abt the debility getting cancelled in Navamsa due to the dispositor strongly placed in a quadrant ?
BTW I thought Raja Bhanga yoga is cancellation of a Raja Yoga .. so it should be considered in this case only if the Exalted planet is involved in a Raja Yoga in the Natal chart. What do you think ?
Thanks
Vin

hello Vin
I have come across threads on this forums where members have written abt debilitation in navamsa being final in the sense that NBRY does not apply to d-9..I am not sure abt it myself if that is the case but yes Deb of a planet in navamsa is not good even if the planet is exalted in d-1
thx

NBRY applies to divisional charts as well. Unless planet is well placed in d9 as well, good net result is not promised even tho its exalted in d1. Planet debilitated in d1 but exalted in d9 gives good result.
Ghrishneshwar and Astro123, I have a question about the planet getn NBY through an exalted conjn planet. What happens to the exalted planet in such case ? Doesnt it looses its power helping the neech planet to attain NBY ? Shouldnt there be Raja bhang Yog for the exalted planet as well since its placed with a debilitated planet ?
thanks for your time.

Thats a good question..IMO we may have to see how close is the conjunction btwn the exalted and deb planet and also the lordship of those two planets and whether they are enemies, friends or neutral to each other...I do not know what happens to the exalted planet in case of a close conjunction ...that is a very good and interesting thought from you..Would request other members to add their inputs as well

Good question. It may be potentially uccha bhanga yoga for exalted planet but definition of uccha bhanga have been 2 exalted planets viewing each other, or exalted planet debiliated in navamsa.
A debiliated planet in navmsa shows bad results or hindrance in manifestataion of good result.
It shows some kind of adharma..
This combo like sun and saturn in aries are not classified as uccha bhanga to my knowledge.
There are some may great experienced astrologers, I would love to have their feedback.
I gave studied some more about debilaition in navamsa and found one interesting concept.
Neecha bhanga in D chart will help only in the area signified by D chart but there is no cancellation of this debiliation in rasi tulya navamsa. Rasi tulya navamsa is you bring planets from their navamsa signs and palce them in their rasi chart. Say for gemini ascendant Me is in leo, 3H. In navamsa it is in libra. So in rasi tulya navamsa it will be in 5th house. This principle has orgins in Nadi literature.
This from Rafal Gendarz:
""If there is Raja Yoga, and Navamsa gives debiliation it means Raja-Bhanga Yoga, and there is no cancellation to this debilitation when we talk about Rasi-thulya-Navamsa.
