Hello Everyone, hope all are doing great.
My question is does the quality of the planet change as it transits the houses? Or does it retain the characteristics of its lordship?
Any clarification would be much appreciated. :)
Thanking you

Hello kateyp,

As you know transits are study of present positions of planets in zodiac with relation to planetary positions in Natal Charts.

basically Transits are helpful in timing the events promised in Natal chart. Transits also help in determining the quality, final impact and strength of an event indicated in natal chart. Transits are usually used in combination with Various dashas

For example, if an event like accident is indicated in natal chart to occur more than once and Dashas also indicate the same. In such cases, Impact of two events can be different based on transits at that time. For example, let us assume that Mars is the planet giving accidents, Then impact of one accident can be less when Mars is transiting in less harmful position as compared to the accident when Mars is transiting in more harmful position in relation to natal planets.

I hope it helps

Kind Regards
Atul

Transit of planets are important in Muhurtha,Dasaphal prediction,Ashtakvarg prediction,Prasna,Mundane astrology etc.For any astrological analysis they are to be included for giving near correct prediction.
Any astrologer not using all these sources may not be able to analyse properly and likely to fail in prediction.Any wrong prediction can result in more damage rather than help.
My suggestions are for +ve guidance.Divine blessings are ultimate.

Transit is the current position of a planet vis-a -vis birth chart and the same has to be interpreted with respect t the position of planet at birth . Merely because a planet in transit is exalted or debilitated in transit it does not become exalted or debilitated for all natives.
Transit is one of the methods of predictions, not the prediction itself.
