Let me give you a small piece of advice, don't try to play god, you will end up regretting it. let me tell you a small Mythological story to substantiate my point, when Ravana's son Indrajit was about to be born Ravana forced all the planets in the 11th house because he was under the impression that planets in the 12th house would yield good results, as fate would have it, Lord Shani streched his leg to the 12th house and so the significator for the fruits of Karma landed in the 12th house. tell me, on friday the 3rd of september, the moon will be in Gemini along with Ketu in Ardra Nakshatra within a few degrees of each other, why not do it on a saturday ? but is saturday a good day ? And what about lord Shani being debilitated in the Navamsha ? that according to me is the worst position from my point of view. can you wait till the 27th of september for him to move out of his debilitation?



my point is we can go on and on with this, my advice is not to meddle with the birth process and let things happen the way it has to happen. Either way all of us on this earth are screwed one way or the other.

Good day to you Shrikanth ji,

It's amazing how my personal experiences reflect in my post's. I don't know Shrikanth ji whether this is a good or bad trait when you analyse a subject. I am sorry if I have sounded harsh. Please forgive me . I want to narate to you a small incident which I was witness to. I was at my guru's place when this happened, this was some time ago. A friend of my Guru rushed in to his office and told him that the doctors had decided to go in for a C section and so he could select the time of birth, so my guru gave him the day and the time, but it all went horribly wrong. the kid was born alive alright, but nobody knows what happened, the child to this day cannot walk and is weak from neck down, she cannot hold her head straight nor talk.The child is undergoing intensive rehabilitation to no avail. Comming to think of it, let me try and get the details and post it on this thread so that we can analyse it in detail. It should be a good case study for us. To my Guru's defence, they had to rush her to surgery because she started developing some complications. The day was the same, It was a matter of a few minutes Shrikanth Ji but the die was cast. the lagna shifted and the rest is history. .

How ever I must understand that all cases are Not the same as above and should have analysed this post with a netural mind. Thanks Shrikanth Ji for reminding me of that.


I would like to draw attention to Shri K.N.Rao's words regarding this issue he says, and I quote,

my uneqivocal answer then to the question whether by surgical manipulation of the time of birth, the fate changed is: not at all. all that happens is there is a slight modification. that falls in the area of Kriyaman karma.

i totally agree with Basab and Astroboy. I had chosen the time and date of birth for my child as it was a c section. The doc on that day comes in an hour late as she had a late night surgery and the entire horoscope changed:). Destiny is indeed predestined. There is no point in meddling with this.

It's like this Astroboy : When some misfortune happens naturally on its own, we tend to reconcile to it and accept and live with it. When we initiate something on our own and it turns out bad, the guilt and remorse will haunt us for the rest of our lives.
