Promotion? Gemstone?

What would be good years going forward for me to aim for career promotion/ income growth and moving abroad? Would wearing any gemstone help me in life generally?

I recommend gems for weak planets. You can consider wearing Pearl of 5 carat and worn in auspicious date/ time. Second priority is Yellow sapphire of 5 carat.

My reply is very clear why I recommended pearl and yellow sapphire.

In the Rasi chart, the 10th sign is ruled by Venus. In the bhava chart, however, the cuspal lord of the 10th bhava is Jupiter and the 10th bhava lord is Mars. In Dasamsa, Lagna lord Jupiter is in the 12th while the 10th lord is Mercury and is in the 7th with Rahu.

Both Mercury and Jupiter are in the nakshatra of Mercury. Your current dasa lord is also Mercury.

A stone for Mercury (Green emerald, set in Gold) is recommended for your wish fulfilment.

Thank you for checking. I studied Civil Engineering followed by technology policy. Had started a telecom engg program abroad but aborted it and returned back to India. Then went abroad for my masters. My work is in social impact.

Thank you for your time and analysis. I have mesh lagna in the rashi chart (18/02/87 10:03:20 Delhi). So 10th lord should be Saturn as per me. Also given Aries ascendant, wouldn’t Mercury rule the 3/6 houses?

At present, progress in studies and career may feel a little slow. During this phase, it’s helpful to stay calm, keep faith through prayer, and approach the situation with patience. Rather than relying on gemstones, which only add expense, focus on inner peace and positive efforts for better results ahead.
A job opportunity is likely to come your way around December 2025 / Jan 2026, most probably with a multinational software company and it may even offer opportunities for overseas travel.

There will be a growth/promotion/rise in career along with foreign travel in next 3 to 4 months.

Just wanted to get back to this learned group and inform that nothing concrete has moved yet. Just a bunch of conversations that are not going anywhere. Frustrating as it is, holding peace and patience for now. Thank you for your support.
