My dearest friend, a young boy of 22, has two career choices in front of him.
He comes from an Army family and his parents want him to pursue the same.
He is strong, very fit, sporty, but until recently reluctant to pursue career in Army.
Now he wants to try anyway. They are not very strong financially. He is doing MBA in sports now. He also pursuing CA Inter, for strengthening foundation in Accounting.

12 June 1997, Nepal, Kanepokhari, 14.59.
(26.64° N, 87.50° E)

His, 2nd and 7th Lord is Mars. He is currently running Moon Dasha. Next would be Mars.

I AM VERY VERY VERY AFRAID TO LET HIM PURSUE HIS ARMY CAREER. He is a very young cheerful honest chap.

Are my fears justified?

(Pls notice his Jupiter is debilitated AND retrograde. His Yogi is Moon, and Avayogi Mercury is sitting in Moon's Nakshatra.)

Hi,

Udaya Lagna is in Sandhi/Cusp - would change within a couple of minutes. Instead of speculating, it would perhaps make more sense to consider birth time evaluation/rectification, by seeking help and guidance from experts in this forum.

You mean the Lagna Degree? It's at 9' 11" Libra.

Hi,

I've had chance to recast the birth chart and observe planetary positions. Now, I'm see Udaya Lagna is posited at 8 degree 59', in Libra/Tula Rasi.

Before we go further, kindly share the basis of your anxiety/concern. Has the native already been selected? A quick read of the Original Post or thread starter, it looks like his family is keen for the individual to get into Military Service, while the native himself was not very keen. Now, it looks like he is giving it a bit of a consideration (perhaps due to compulsions)... which is not the same as he aspiring for it. Isn't it?

Sincerely...

Well, wouldn't it rather make sense for you to stop worrying... at least until he (the native) has applied and gotten selected???

Yes you are right absolutely. However, because of such compulsions, he is also going to essentially lose focus on his ongoing MBA course and a fairly difficult CA exam that he had chosen to write. Such compulsions have risen because there is necessity to support his family.

Am hoping that an answer for my question will also suggest the outcome of his education. I hope nothing for but the best for this boy. He is honest, talented and deserves a lot of success and prosperity. I hope that nothing disturbs his education and certainly hope that his education also brings success and prosperity to him.

Although blessed with great sporting talent and fitness, he did not achieve sporting fame or success due to lack of support and direction. I hope the same does not happen to his education too.

Hi,

As you can imagine, "Desha-Kaala-Patra" plays an important role in the unfolding of one's Karma or destiny. So, it would perhaps help if you could kindly provide some insight into the native's background (academic qualification, hobby/interest etc.), to help set the context.

Sincerely...
