When i can get a new job..career help

Hi, i am a 27 yr old male work as a pastry chef in Newzeland.i joined my current job on 25 june and after that my head chef started ilegally deducted my hours and not paying me fully and my immediate senior always lazy and i have to do a lot of his jobs also.the old head chef left nov 1 2018 and before that i tried to talk to the executive chef for my pay rise as it was promised to me by the head chef on joining after 2 months and also told him of his act of illegal deducting my hours pay. He said he will look into it and even after a month he didn't responded to me.
The new head chef joined 1 November 2018 and i talked to him regarding the whole pay issue and he promised to pay me disired pay rate in mid of December 2018 and told me the new pay rate would roll in first week of January. I have chased him so many times about it and Today 15 January he called me and said he can only raise 1$ per hour and not the desired pay rate and gave me stupid reason and put alligation on me of something which is not true.

Should i take what is been ofered or fight for what i deserve. Should i change my job and would i able to find a job where i have no problems such like this.is been 1 and half years now every job the boss under pay me and put things to create issues.

Should i take them to court as i have prove that the head chef didnt pay me correct.
Please help..urgent help advice needed and why this happening with me..when can i have relaxed career life.

Hi, i am not a permanent resident here so actually cant do a business of my own.and to get permanent resident i need to have support from employer a better package and i dont see it coming through.i am a single from past 5 yrs now.and its been almost 3 yrs i am in Newzeland and not have a female frnd even.and not dated from past 5 years.
