I am not sure if this topic is allowed in this forum but the only reason I am posting such a question here is because I have not found any relevant discussions anywhere else regarding this topic. I am only interested in finding if there are any astrological reasons (planetary combinations, etc.) due to which I have this psychological disorder.
I am 25 years old and I am a porn addict (watching porn and consequently masturbating multiple times) since 13 years. I have tried several ways of diverting my attention towards something interesting but all went in vain. After a lot of struggle, it was once and only once in those 13 years that I could put myself away from porn and that too for a period of 2 months only, and then I started again. After that incident I lost all hope that I could ever get rid of this disorder. The more I try to put myself away from such thoughts the more I am get close to watching porn and consequently masturbating. And I think as a consequence of this addiction/ habit is why I cannot concentrate, unable to socialize, low self-esteem, etc.
I wanted to know what astrological combinations could be responsible for this kind of a psychological disorder. I have some basic knowledge in vedic astrology so I will try to understand your answers.

Dude, It's good that you wanted to get rid of this habit! It's just a habit that you got from your previous Birth Karma. So, don't judge yourself based on this.
But we can say that if Gulika is in lagnam, one will have high sexual desires. As Gulika is in lagna. This is also an add on to your Sexual desires. Again here too Jupiter aspect somewhat mitigates.
So, what you need to do is Pray Pray Pray till you get focus! Concentrate on your passion if you've! Do some physical exercise! Mingle with people. If you like some subject or anything try focusing on it!
Even in my horoscope, 5th aspect of Raahu is on Venus. And Moon is in mutual aspect with Venus. Almost all my thoughts are filled with Romance!
& also this Raahu aspecting Venus making my sexual desires very intense! I took Hanumaan deeksha to control my Sexual desires. This helped me a lot.
But as I said, Praying & focusing on your passion diverts completely on such thoughts! So, try it if you're willing to let go of this habit!

You are simply over-reacting to it. Querant clearly wrote that he wants to understand astrological reasons behind this psychological disorder. He acknowledges that it indeed is pyschological disorder. He has articulated his query well and in a non-offensive manner.
You have a choice to not to click it as title of query clearly depicts the subject. Please be empathetic and try "wear others' shoes".

1... How you consider this offensive question, tomorrow assume, if one your family member experiences this problem, you mean to say that family person should not discuss the problem with family ?
2.What is Sacred here ?, oh my God, if someone query a Progeny problem and describe it, than that becomes sacred, but someone undergoing a disorder and posting it in Health section , it becomes not-sacred. What kind of thought process? We have to be scientific in nature and conclude in a logical way.
3.You read the title in Health section... Porn additction…. than you clicked this post and fully read entire posts. In that case, you shouldn't have clicked in Health section for Porn addiction.
4. Whether Visiting a doctor etc , one shouldn't advocate it, without any astrological analysis.
This is an interesting question and a problem that can be overcome through spirituality.
From this chart two other points that were ignored by the others. Ninth house Lord in 9th house is a very positive signification. That is why OP has asked come to this forum for help. Remember strength of 9th house lord is very important. Although Guru rules malefic houses it's presence in the 5th house is due to good past life karma and aspects the lord of house of karma. So progress is possible through Guru and positive karma.
I personally feel the problem is in the 11th house. What is OP's friend circle like ? Person with Moon/Exalted Venus in 11th house will have lots of female friends because the person is very attractive/charming . Plus Gaja Kesari Yoga in opposition. It doesn't help that the Rahu Ketu axis is in 1st/7th house. 12th house lord Mars in the 2nd doesn't help with money matters either.

Forum member 'gansub' is dot ON the problem. In ' Stri jataka' the combo of moon+merc+venus
in vrischika has been discussed. Irrespective of the sex of the person, this combo will give
excessive urge towards sex. Note this combo is occurring in one of the kama trikonas.
Moreover, in your case venus is atmakaraka and you will be driven by it. For taurus lagna ,
jupiter is a malefic and hence its aspect can blow up the scenario because of its aspect
on the combo. Jupiter has the capacity to expand things.
Mandi is close to your lagna. It spoils your dhi sakthi.
I would put your navamsa lagna in Aries. Impulses are seen in Nakshatramsa. Venus, the AK
is aspected by mars and saturn and rasi drishti comes from rahu.
The combo is placed in a strong argala sthana. Mars too is causing argala to the lagna

My friend's son had a similar problem, he started praying to Hanuman and also met a Yogi, his lust was immidietly burnt to ashes.
As soon as the guy walked in, the Yogi said "You have an uncontrolled parrot as a pet in your cage. Release it."
Parrot here meant lust. Cage is body.
This boy then lost his desires and temptations and is very spiritual now.

I am a novice in vedic astrology and would like to ask you a basic question.
What is the purpose of astrology?
What is its purpose if it can't solve problems that humans are facing, especially addiction problems that are rampant in this time and age?
Although they may seem petty or insignificant they are extremely detrimental.
Moreover, there is nothing in my question that demeans others (women or elders).
I would have visited a doctor (as suggested by you) if I had no belief in vedic astrology. It is the belief that astrology can solve my disorder that made me ask this question, to share my years long agony with a forum of proficient vedic astrologers.

@jai I have been through similar problem and it lasted for 14 years for me. I was 27-28 years of age when I realized I had a problem. I started looking for ways to overcome this addiction and then finally stumbled upon https://reddit.com/r/NoFap and it helped a lot. 7 Mar 2016 was the last time I relapsed. I made myself a promise that every time I replase I will donate 10000 rupees at a temple and that helped as well 
@Lex sir gave the best medical explanation of this addiction. It works like any other addiction like herion, alcohol, etc. It takes time to overcome this and its real hard work. But, nothing good is achieved without hard work.
I'm 31 years of age now and have my own fears and anxieties. This addiction has ruined my mind and body. My parents want me to get married and I'm not able to muster the courage to explain why I'm not getting married. I just feel helpless now. If any learned astrologer wants to read my chart, I can private message my birth details.
From the last two years, I have been working out regularly at the gym or going a morning walk, eating a balanced diet, and engaging my self in good activities during my free time. Started morning prayer and getting more social. I want to tell my parents about this asap and but I think I'm confused. And I know I'm the only one who can help myself.
There have been two occasions where a girl's family approved of me for their daughter but I rejected the proposals at the last moment making some excuses. These things are making me feel bad about myself. It fills my heart with great pain when I have to say no to proposal :'(

I can relate to the struggle, honestly. It took me years to break out of the same loop—it becomes part of your routine, and the guilt just feeds the cycle. What helped me was shifting to something interactive that still scratched that itch but didn’t just leave me feeling burnt out after. Something more engaging, story-driven, where you're not just zoning out, really made a big difference.
I eventually moved toward stuff like adult sex games that let you have some control and choice rather than passive watching. Helped redirect the urge in a healthier way without quitting cold turkey.
