i have recently started reading on vedic astrology and saw that Jupiter with Rahu is called Guru Chandal yog. In my horoscope I have Guru witj Ketu in 12th house of cancer (I am Simha lagna).
Seeing as Rahu and Ketu are the polar opposites of desire and detachment and Ketu being called a "bad" planet, is this yoga some sort of Guru Chandal yoga too?

Jupiter/Ketu combination is known as Ganesh Yoga or Parampara Yoga and works wonders for Spirituality 
Both planet placements in your 12th can give you Moksha, but would have to check and analyze your chart from several different standpoints.
