After a roller coaster ride of approximately 18 years, my Rahu Dasha is coming to an end. Contrary to general belief I had a most successful Rahu Dasha in all aspects. There are trials and tribulations but overall the Dasha is good in several aspects. More than anything else I developed an interest in Vedic Astrology.
Since Jupiter Dasha is approaching, surprisingly I am gradually inclined to spirituality and the real excitement in Rahu Dasha is waning. Is it so for other natives also ? Is Jupiter Dasha brings in a philosophical outlook for individuals? Or it is so because my Jupiter is exalted in 9th house (Meena)?

Jcb, i don't need to see your chart as i remember that Jupiter is the Trump card for your chart.
In Dwadshottari Dasha[ since you have Libra Navmansha] Rahu Dasha will start from 2-09-2016

I had a good Rahu dasha myself, I am approaching the end of Rahu-Moon which in one word was terrible. If course, Rahu dasha gives challenges towards the end but overall it was indeed very good, took me to the height, and, now dropping me down. Although it depends from chart to chart but Ra-Mo dasha brought me to Astrology, I did that some elements in my chart to attract me to occult. My father was also initiated to astrology around the same dasha, so seeing you I guess that is not so uncommon. My father and I both have Aquarius asc.
It is said, in earlier days astrologers would advice people to hide their wealth in pots and burrow them beneath the soil, as Rahu Dasha ending would take everything away. I am having my own share of misfortune, defamation and anxiety. Did you also experience the same? How was your Mars bhukti?
I saw that your 6th house is oddly crowded. Is this Kaal-sarp yoga? Jupiter in own house in 9th house gives you luck. Can I ask you if 7th house Saturn really gives delayed marriage or is it a myth?

Saturn at 7th house gave slightly delayed marriage. Rahu Dasha is overall good , but the most testing phase is April 2013- Jan 2014, during which I stuck with stagnation, anxiety and misfortune . But so far in my life whenever I go down, I used to rise again dramatically with help from strange sources ( Jupiter?) . Things started stabilizing from April 2014 to till date.
Yes, there is a cluster of planets in 6th house but Kaalsarpa dosha as per classical definition is clear NO. But I feel I faced the heat as per my own observation and understanding.
