I have always been a short tempered person and have a habit of worrying too much on silly things. I am wearing Emerald and pearl as suggested by an astrologer. But looks like pearl is not helping me much to overcome unknown worries.
I was also suggested to wear blue sapphire for better health and improvement in career and to have a strong character but I never wore it. Please suggest.

To be honest, gemstones won't bring peace of mind. For that try doing yoga - Pranayama, kapalbhati, Anulom Vilom or you may also try vipassana meditation. If you need more easier way, just listen to spiritual mantras in morning (you have Venus Conjuct moon in 9th house) this should help you. Pearl is okay for career but moon is also marak from your moon sign, so I wouldn't recommend wearing it. Short temper could be due to Mars aspect on second house and 12th Lord combusted by sun. 12th house represents left side of your brain, while 2nd shows the right one, Malefics affecting it could cause it. You tend to worry because you're running through the time period of mercury who is in the 8th house and is combusted by sun and receives the aspect of Saturn (Which can cause tension, fear and anxiety) The impact is higher because Mercury is also forming parivartana with lagna Lord Venus who is in conjunction with the moon.

cant wear moon or mercury both.. one is vipat and another is naidhana taara .. will bring sufferings only. Blue sapphire is safe to wear for you. It will bring you luck and wealth.

with due respect and and treat it as a novice question, but I am currently running under Mercury Maha Dasha which is fairly easy going than the previous Saturn dasha where I had lot of hardships. Also, my shadbala chart shows enough strength for Saturn, so wearing blue sapphire will create much difference in my case. please advice.

the result of gems is a top up factor on good and bad placements in the chart. After 42 degrees heat even 36 degrees seems cool. But if we turn the heater on the effect of 36 can easily reach 42 in minutes.
