BEST SPIRITUAL PRACTICES (japa, mantra)

Dear brothers:

I'm a western man, and I'm looking for the best spiritual practices that can help me to develop my spiritual and material lives. Nowadays I worship Lord Shiva because I feel strongly attracted to Him.

I'd like to know Who form of God I should worship in both senses: spiritual and material.

Please help me, I really need help because I'm living difficult times
