Wearing Gomed for Rahu Bhukti /Saturn Dasa

Namaste everyone.

I am libra ascendant . My raasi chart is as attached.
I started wearing gemstones since the past 3 years.
I have moon placed in 1st house libra with saturn.
Mars in second house with ketu
Rahu in 8th house.

When I first met my astrologer 3 years ago, I was advised to wear Pearl which I did .
afterwards I had a dream in which my ring slipped off my finger. I was given a different coloured stone in the dream by my late grandfather which looked /yellowish/orange.
when I consulted the astrologer , he advised me to add on cats eye , which I did.
once my sevvai bhukti started , I was wearing coral till the end of the bhukti and the switched to gomed.
I just removed both the pearl ring and cats eye 1 week ago after a temple priest who is also an astrologer told me that both the stones are causing me too much mental stress .

I feel better now. Lighter. But I still am not too sure.
Rahu is in my 8th house. Saturn as it is already causing delay in my marriage.
swathi is my nakshatra , lordship Rah


My questions are;

1. which gemstone is the best for me?
2. My mercury is conjunct with sun in sixth house, within 1 degree with each other. Can I wear emerald to strengthen the influence of mercury/
3. Can one wear Rahu/ketu gemstones at all? More pros or more cons by wearing?
4. Has anyone recommended you to wear gemstones based on the bhukti you are going through?

Just my thoughts (btw I cannot see your Rasi Chart as an attachment - so just going off the info you have provided).

1. Generally for Libra Ascendant Saturn is yogakarak so many advise Blue Sapphire. Need to check D9 to be sure and Saturn (melancholy) placed with Moon (mind) is always challenging.
2. Adopting Anukla philosophy a gemstone amplifies the effect of that planet in your chart. If your mercury is combust then emerald will only amplify this combust effect (in a manner of speaking). Better to offer prayer to the planet impacting mercury.
3. Differing views on Rahu / Ketu gemstones. Wearing both these gemstones at same time is like taking one step forward and three steps back since for each ascendant rahu or ketu will work as a malefic or benefic and being asura in nature its their malefic impact which tends to be more noticeable.
4. Some believe that wearing gemstone of bukti lord can be effective - if benefic and well placed should be fine. If malefic better to adopt other remedial measures.

Hi Kappy,

Thank you for the advise.
My saturn is in the 11th house with moon in D9.
My Rahu and Ketu are both exalted in both raasi and navamsa, Vargotamas
I think blue Saphire it is , since I feel much better since praying to Shani Bhagavan.
I feel less confused , more relaxed after removing Cats eye and Pearl.
I am keeping the Hessonite, I guess till the end of my Rahu Bhukti.
I guess you are right by saying praying the planets is better. Thank you for the input.
