had a horrible Rahu dasha, want to know jupiter dasha effect

Hi,

I'm close to completing my Rahu Mahadasha by 2016 although I still have one more troublesome year to experience. I'm a gemini asc and with Rahu being in 2nd house, he made me suffer through hell lot of consequences, making me out of direction in career, i had a foreign travel but I was away from my family, no settlement in life, neither was any progress in career. He made me earn money but also lose it, high mental instability, I get good opportunities but does not allow you make right choices and with Rahu MD - Moon AD (moon in my 8th house in capricorn sitting with ketu and mercury), life has been more miserable than anything, coworkers bullying, insults at work and with friends, managers politics unable to tolerate i lost my job, all of a sudden huge loss of wealth, it feels like I have to start my life from scratch and build everything again. I'm surviving the battle but not able to face so many adverse affects in my life.

I'm soo looking forward to my next mahadasha of Jupiter (jupiter in 4th house in virgo with saturn both retrograde). But I read somewhere that Jupiter is a malefic planet for Gemini Lagna and it's dasha would be very troublesome. I really have no more courage to take any other problems in life. Could anyone please be kind and tell me how to read the results of Jupiter mahadasha and how would its effects be for a gemini lagna person when Jupiter is in 4th house in rasi chart.

I really appreciate anyone's time and effort in answering this.

Not much can be made out of just these cursory placements. In general, yes, Jupiter is not the best for Gemini, being Badhaka, Maraka and carrying the dosha of being Kendradhipati. Please post your full details for someone to make a meaningful analysis. I will also then move this thread to Careers where it belongs.

Thank you for the reply. I'm not looking for a reading but just want to understand how to judge a mahadasha of a planet when it is placed in certain house and sign in horoscope. I know there are other factors like nakshatra lord, conjuction or aspect planets which is what confuses me to judge dasha of a planet.

As a Gemini lagna born, my Jupiter(R) is placed in 4th house of virgo with Saturn(R). Jupiter nakshatra(Hasta) lord(Moon) is sitting in 8th house with malefic ketu. and lastly Mars is in 9th house and is aspecting 4th house where jupiter is placed in my horoscope. Could anyone tell me if there is a way to judge Jupiter mahadasha from these.

Hi Lakshmi, Jupiter is ok placed but it is involved in planetary war with saturn.But Jupiter wins the war. Jupiter is a benefic planet , unlike Rahu which is a malefic by nature.

In your Rahu Maha dasha ,Rahu has afflicted both mercury and moon. One is for thinking and other is mind. It is hard to know that rahu acted in a vicious manner.

Jupiter dasha will be better than Rahu Maha dasha.

In Jupiter Maha dasha , every Thursday pray Lord Dakshina Murthy.

Rahu can be troublesome but can take you to distant places with increased earnings and next career level. From your message your troubles are due to Moon, Ketu and Mercury. In my view Jupiter is likely to give you good results next year.

Thank you Karthik ji and Sujit ji. How do i know what areas of life get more focus in jupiter mahadasha. Can anyone please tell me how to judge mahadasha when jupiter is sitting with saturn in 4th house of virgo.
