Mantreshwar in his book has written that natural benefics (even if not strong) in 6th house is good for 6th house signification.

But in my case it seems to be other way round..my 6 th Lord mercury is in its own house in Gemini along with Venus and malefic sun mg 8 th lord...I keep unwell..suffering from diabetes...diagnosed in my late twenties..then I have been hospitalized twice during mercury dasha itself ..on n off skin problems and extra sensitive stomach ..seems my 6 th Lord is giving me lots of struggle in health front ...I do agree with a malefic sun there I have a good fight ing ability...but somehow I feel it gives one a lot to face in terms of health

I have noticed that Venus in 6th house (regardless of sign) often leads to diabetes or kidney problems.

I've never had any health issue outside of a common cold, and even they don't get too serious anymore.
Never had a hospital visit for an injury,etc.
my sixth has the highest ashtakavarga, but also has saturn retrograde in it (as 8+9th lord),

just posting my chart as it could be helpful as far as checking out someone who is 30 (basically...) and not had any health concerns. Yes I have some eczema on my hands, but even that only started somewhat recently, and isn't very bad (not the bleeding kind or anything.)

Ohh....I don't have hormonal imbalance as of now ..but then yes future ailment in this direction cannot be ruled out ..2012 my mom was detected with cancer in thyroid which was eventually cured but then doctors do say it is hereditary ...so m not even ruling out that ..my details are 30 th June 1930 f 20:25 dibrugarh Assam for looking into D6 andD30 charts....

Or you can right click on your rasi chart and select " show ashtakavarga of this chart"
Or,
you can use astrosage and get the free chart from there,
on their site they have an ashtakavarga viewing option,
it was a bit confusing to me at first as they have numbers 1-12 then the ashktakavarga score below each one.
At first I thought 1 = first house, 2 = second house,etc.
but it's infact the rasi. so 1 = wherever aries is in your chart, 2 = taurus, etc.

I'm not quite sure exactly what the points indicate....I know it has to do with transit effects primarily.
like higher points = more auspicious transit results when planets go through it, or especially when planets that give higher points in their own ashtakavarga's (the charts where the points are only 0-8. ...and most are in the 3-4-5 range usually)
But some astrologers and websites have said that houses with higher points = stronger houses, and of course for less points it means the house has some weakness.
"low" is generally 25 or less, with of course closer to 20(or less even) being officially "weak" in some way. 30 is very good and more than 30 is great.
Though I myself haven't found this system to work 100% of the time for deciding house strength.
I mean I've seen many celebrity charts with 25 or less in the 10th house,
or even actors and athletes with lower points in the 1st house.
or exceedingly rich people with only low or average points in 2nd or 11th. ...etc.
So I stick to ashtakavarga for transits only, which does seem to work well from what I've tested in people's charts (friends/family).

A strong 6th house gives good health, but the period of 6th lord or of a planet in 6th house, how much strong it maybe is, will give health issues definitely.

There are many ways to judge the strength of a house and planet. I know only a few ways, not all, but it is difficult to explain it actually. Ashtakavarga of a house does help in finding the strength of a house, you are right.

Right now my 6th lord us giving me pimples that too king size ...on a lighter side...I guess it gives you immense energy ...personally I have come across person rather gal who has some 4 planets in 6 th house andtrust me from morning 8 till midnight 2 she's beaming with loads of energy but then...she's not suffering from any life time disease like mine

Pimples are something common with girls. Don't blame astrology for that.
Jokes apart, pimples, I think, are the result of too much body heat, and Mars being a hot planet, and being connected with your ascendant lord and with 2nd lord of face,Saturn, maybe that is the reason you get pimples.
Coming to 6th house, it's the house of fight, competition, hard work, and malefics there gives a person a lot of energy to work hard. So I am sure your friends must be having malefics planets in the 6th house and maybe she is running the dasha of a planet in the 6th house.

she ran the dasha ans has 4 planets in her 6th house ..mars ,saturn ,mercury moon , 7th house has sun ,rahu n venus and jupiter in 12th and ketu in 1 st ...

Thanks for sharing birth details. It is a very interesting chart. Does she have health issues or had surgery? Is she a very aggressive and hot headed person? She should be spiritual and introverted to some extent. Enemies will bother her always. She can be in a relation, but it will not go smooth. She will write well and very boldly. She can do some writing job. She maybe was good in sports. She is a very courageous person. She did some technical education maybe. She will not have an easy life.

I know i found her chart interesting too ...yes shes hot headed ..we both gel well ..n we both discuss astrology a common connection ..I have usually noticed i gel well with ppl having strong mars..
Her relations never run smooth ...
shes not exactly into sports but does well in stuffs where physical activity is involved and stays energetic through out..hence cleared CISF exam which demands a heavy dedication for clearing physical standards ..though i dont like classifying jobs gender specific ..but u can assess only two gals have made it ...i met her in SBI but she will quit here and join that organization..it fits her more personality wise and mindset wise ...however all that bothers her more is her relationship ...
I find her unstable n vulnerable when it comes to relations..i really dont knowhow to put it across; in the quest of finding the right person the journey is mostly painful ;however if you have the optimism that the end result is worth the try one can take the pain; i know usually the right thing to preach is that dont expect results keep on trying however its difficult specially when most of your emotions are involved ...
i see a great raj yoga in this chart but then usually when so many planets are there in few house the results are difficult to comprehend ;my hunch is her married life will be tough ..i cant say whether it will be a love or arranged marriage ..but she seems to be obsessed about relations ..hence my worries aggravate ..
