What kind of affliction to rahu and/or mercury causes skin issues? Is eczema related to this affliction too?

Green tea or herbal teas will cure some skin related diseases,take plenty of water daily.
Astro remedy:
Mercury is the primary karaka for skin diseases.Pray mercury,recite vyasa navagraha stotra for mercury[two lines] daily.

Shilpaji thanks for the reply, but how rahu/ketu give these skin diseases?
I mean do they have to be in particular house..or aspected by malefic aspects?
It would be nice if you could elaborate..is there any remedy to get rid of
such diseases?

Rahu and Ket take the charcatrer of otehr planets.
Me causes skin infections and Moon governs blood and hormonal disorders that can manifest skin disorders as side affects.
So conjunction, aspect, transit combinations of Rah-Ket with the aforesaid planets or dasa/ antara mix can trigger skin disorders.

Apart from planetary slokas, One can eat amla daily for fighting against skin diseases. Amla is said to purify the blood in turn fights the diseases in the body. Also carrot, orange, mangoes will be of help related to maintenance of skin. All the best.

Definitely true in my case. I've got Mercury with Ketu in my chart and had eczema since childhood. Strange thing is that it kept coming and going during my Rahu, Jupiter and Saturn mahadashas, however after Mercury dasha started 've never had it !!! Alopathic medicine didn't work at all. And the steroid creams are very bad for health. I finally overcame it by taking Chinese herbal medicine.

I agree, amla is very good for skin. Not sure about citric fruits. I had to stop all citric fruits, spicy food and dairy products when taking Chinese herbal medicine to cure the eczema.

My 4 year old daughter has Mercury+Rahu in her chart. She has something like eczema(not exactly that though)...basically an acute dry skin condition(kind of like rashes). I have taken her to a number of dermatologists with no change in the condition. I have used very light steroid creams too in the past..I have been suggested to go to a place in India by one of the forum members. I am trying to find a solution until then..I keep using calamine+aloe lotion which helps a bit. It gets better at times and flares up again..

Could you share the name of the chinese herbal medicine if possible?

Check for connection between Me (karaka for skin) , Sa (karaka for disease) , 6th lord ....and Ra/Ke ...also if Me , Ra , Sa or 6th lord is atmakaraka ....this is based on what I have observed.

External application and intake of Virgin coconut oil should help. (worked in my friend's case). Fresh coconut can be taken in plenty.Please avoid giving her any processed food. Modify her diet to include more fruits, vegetables, nuts and reduce rice,wheat,etc to minimal(once a day). My friend had severe psoriasis and she got cured of it by following this.

Thanks for responding Msastrostudent!!! I apply virgin olive oil on her everyday before bath but havent tried coconut oil so far..I will give it a try. I cannot do much to her diet as she is just 4 and is quite picky about what she eats.

Pls apply the oil after bath instead of moisturizer. It sinks in fast, always assuming you don't literally butter yourself with it, that if you wait for a while it won't oil the clothes. Don't wash it off.

@piscean82; It must be due to some diet causing this allergy bcoz u say it reappears even after
applying aloe cream etc. u may 've to avoid milk &fatty products. Instead give her oats meal/arrow root meal.
Since she is a baby if Triphala powder may help her? I understand fruits aggravate ? only common
yellow banana seems to helpful.

@srcs...Thanks for responding...Not so sure about the food/milk allergy. we got rid of the rashes totally the last time we were in India on a vacation by just applying the calo lotion. I didnt do any changes to her diet then..Still wondering what the issue could possible be.

I'm sorry the Chinese herbalist didn't give me the names of the herbs, it's almost 20 years since I used them. They looked like a mixture of dried roots and leaves which I had to boil in water for half an hour and then drink it. However it was very bitter in taste so it may be difficult to get a 4 year old to drink it. Since I was cured of the eczema, I regularly take Triphala powder and (thanks to God) the skin problem has never come back. This is the reason I strongly recommend Triphala to anyone with a skin problem. If your daughter finds it difficult to swallow Triphala powder, you can always mix quarter teaspoon in some honey and get her to lick it, preferably before going to bed. At the same time, it is also important to cut down on sweets and citrus fruits - oranges, lemons, tomatoes. Too much spicy food should also be avoided.

mercury, venus and Saturn are all karakas of the skin.

if only one is afflicted without other indications then skin disease is possible but not definite. if all three are afflicted then skin disease can be said to be probable but again not 100% definite.
