Lapis lazuli

Just want members thoughts about lapis lazuli. While not a traditional vedic astrology gem it may be suggested for shani as it has a blue colour and some say it has this energy. However it has some history of being called the jove or jupiter stone in pagan europe mainly in Rome and Italy and can be regarded as a stone of joy and jupiter qualities. We could note yet more contradiction in astrology and say that surely these remedies are some false pseudo science. What are your thoughts on this?
