Hello All
I gave birth to a baby boy on 22/05/2013 at 3.20 am, Banbury, UK time.
Baby had a tongue-tie and had difficulties feeding from breast. It was operated on the 6th day of birth, but still he is not latching onto the breast. He is fine with bottle milk and expressed milk. I want him to feed directly from the breast. Please do advice when this will happen.
I am having a very difficult time as i am pumping the milk every 3 hours, trying to feed him from breast with no success. We have tried all the suggestions given to us by midwives, lactation consultants etc.
Just want to know how long i need to continue this and when I will be able to breastfeed my son?
Please reply soon - your suggestions will be much appreciated.
Thanks for all the help in advance.

Dear aqua,
I suggest you continue to express the milk.....what's the problems?
pumps are easily availbale....and it can be stored in fridge easily for upto 24 hours.....it is convenient , safe and most importantly a controlled process.
you know how much milk the baby has ingested and when....unlike the natural feeding when inspite of sepnding hours and hours you do not know for sure if the bay ingested milk and how much .
mangal-shani are aspecting each otehr on the 2-8 axis ...and ketu is in the 2nd house that rules the food we eat and the mouth.
neverthless there are no major issues in the child's chart.......the mother's chart might show some stressful antardasa /transit.
Do not worry.
regards

Dear Shilpaji
Thanks you for your reply. I am gald to know that there are no major issues in the child's chart.
Its physically very draining to use the pump every 3-4 hrs and i am not physically very well which makes me tired easily. There have been ups and downs in the past 4 weeks which is very stressful and that's the reason for seeking solution.
When will my (mother) antardasha/transit end?
Many thanks
