Hi,
The following life-changing events have occurred since the start of Surya MD in Year 2008:
1. At the onset of Ketu AD in Venus MD, I got a part-time engineering job in a consulting firm.
2. After enormous persuading, one of the university professors reluctantly agreed to be my supervisor for master's degree thesis.
3. At workplace, colleagues and peers supported totally in the initial months, but after September 2008 situation turned turtle. i.e., colleagues and peers stopped cooperating for no credible reason whatsoever.
4. At the university, the professor sabotaged my dissertation because he wasn't interested to work with me due to his racial intolerance.
5. In mid-November 2008, I failed my dissertation.
6. In late February 2009, I voluntarily resigned from my job unable to cope with office politics and backstabbing.
7. In May 2009, I secured permission from the university to complete master's degree by enrolling into the number of subjects required to successfully complete the degree programme.
8. In December 2009, I completed my Master's degree as anticipated.
9. Then, I applied for work permit in December 2009 to be eligible to live and work permanently in that country.
10. I applied to several jobs in Year 2010 in the country I lived to no avail. In spite of having work permit, none of my applications were shortlisted for interviews.
11. In mid-January 2011, I returned to India hoping to find employment. Unfortunately, none of my applications to date have been shortlisted for interviews.
12. In conclusion, I have tasted failure in all aspects of life forcing me to ruminate whether or not I am capable to work in the future. My dreams and efforts have been ripped apart, and I live in solitude at home with regular emotional outbursts.
My birth details are below:
Date: 25.11.1984
Time: 4:56 a.m.
Place: Mangalore, India
Why am I lurking in an ocean of failures, setbacks, cheating, conspiracies, etc, since Year 2008? My life has totally overturned, and I am sulking into isolation every day. How long will this continue, and will I lose my identity and merit forever? Will I be condoned for the rest of my life, or is there any ray of hope to revive my confidence to lead a normal life? When will my career take off? Should I study further?
Please somebody help. Thank you.
Best regards,
yashwanth1984

Dear Sujit,
Greatly appreciate your words of encouragement. Thank you very much.
Over the past couple of months, I have seriously been contemplating to pursue further overseas higher education i.e., a master's degree, to compensate for the time lost in job searching since completing the master's degree in oil and gas engineering in early December 2009.
Realistically, I believe my job search has overstretched the acceptable time frame. All in all, I have only experienced failures and humiliation repetitively. This, in turn, has enthused me to consider further studies pertaining to the Oil & Gas discipline.
Surya MD has only given me unbearable pain, mental vacillations and colossal financial losses, so I am unwilling to start my studies in this Mahadasha. Thanks to my intuition, I strongly believe September 2014 commencement would put my education in the right pedestal with Moon MD starting in November 2014.
Should I proceed with university admission for September 2014 intake? Do I stand a better chance to benefit with regard to career from another master's degree? Will Moon MD support my educational and career aspirations?
Please do not hesitate to be straightforward and blunt in your observations. Thank you.

It has been the experience of one noted astrologer that people's career suffer in Sun mahadasha. It does not even spare people with well placed Sun.
Yes, you are right in your assessment. Moon as 10th Lord in your chart will promote your career and marriage.

Thank you for mentioning this point. It's God's grace on me that I came to know of it, or else I would be falsely hoping for the Sun period to be good for me. Coming to this chart, Sun is afflicted, so maybe, that is why its period has not been good for him, though as it is making a wealth combination, wealth should have come to him. Moon MD will be better for him, I feel so, too.

Dear bob_astrologer and Yellow,
Thank you for your inputs.
Sun, "the Royal Don", is one hundred percent stubborn in not supporting my career aspirations. Instead, he keeps me busy in pondering over my past. He encourages me to behave like a time machine, often visiting my past glorious days: a roller coaster ride at the end of which I always hate myself for the pathetic present day outlook. With Sun MD and ADs your future looks bleak because the ability to think positively is curbed. You wake up in the mornings and go to sleep at nights only worrying about how your life will pan out in the future if it exists. In short, you become a fervent pessimist!
A number of online job applications, applications submitted through post or in person, applications submitted through professional references, telephone conversations with Human Resources Managers and Engineering Managers, face-to-face meeting with recruitment heads and teams in the companies, job applications submitted through recruitment agencies' paid and free-of-charge services, cold-calling companies' Human Resources Managers and Teams with speculative job applications, etc, go down the drain. Over time, you start wondering what more has to be done (that other equally educated and skilled applicants normally don't do) to find employment despite having good academic qualifications and considerable, relative work experience in your field of interest. Eventually, you begin doubting your credentials, capabilities and skills.
Sooner rather than later you stop job searching, acknowledging the fact that the employers are simply not interested in your profile because they somehow manage to locate loopholes in your applications to label you as "incompetent" and "unemployable". As a result, you turn recluse, and isolate yourself from the society to find peace in desolation sans friends, family members and relatives i.e., self-imposed exile.
After cogitating on my failures during Sun MD to date, I have made up my mind not to propitiate "the Royal Don" for mercy because there is no such provision in his MD and ADs. Off late, I have accustomed myself to living off the Sun MD on a low profile to avoid further damages to already fragile self-confidence. Much to my delight, this arrangement helps me remain calm, which, in turn, avoids unnecessary conflicts with friends, family members and relatives in a fit of rage.
Above all, I believe that a fresh start towards the end of Sun MD through further overseas higher education would help me regain my lost self-confidence. In fact, university education would equip me with the job-related skills required to enter the workplace with renewed optimism.

Well, everything is the work of Planets. They are not bothered about even if one has graduated from Harvard. During bad times, people will criticize you even for your slight mistakes but in good times, people will term your mistakes as jokes. Maybe you should do some research on saturn return. Yes, I am sure your moon MD will resurrect your life.A number of online job applications, applications submitted through post or in person, applications submitted through professional references, telephone conversations with Human Resources Managers and Engineering Managers, face-to-face meeting with recruitment heads and teams in the companies, job applications submitted through recruitment agencies' paid and free-of-charge services, cold-calling companies' Human Resources Managers and Teams with speculative job applications, etc, go down the drain. but dont you think that after such a destructive 6 yrs in prime age of life its kind of useless to have a good moon md as the base on which moon md will work is ver weak.
Your face brings me death everyday,
And everyday I can't wait to die
Bury me now love,
Bury me now
And everyday I can't wait to die
Bury me now love,
Bury me now

Dear bob_astrologer,
Yes, you are correct. Criticism can be tolerated, but cynicism is something I love to defuse upfront. Unfortunately, I have been dealing with cynics regularly over the past 5 years. The fortunate, egoistic souls didn't spare a chance to disparage me when opportunities presented themselves. I have ended up listening to several self-professed experts extolling themselves whenever they caught hold of my attention. However, my listening skills have considerably improved, on a positive note.
Planets, on the other hand, have made my life interesting to live. Lord Saturn positioning himself in the Libra Ascendant in Jupiter's Vishaka Nakshatra welcomes me to the "Exclusive VIP Zone". A true Yogakaraka who loves me for all the good deeds I do and severely punishes me for the bad ones. Everybody would love to have a teacher, mentor, well-wisher and friend like Lord Saturn. Simply put, I love his exalted presence in my horoscope.
P.S. My moonsign is Sagittarius, with Jupiter as its ruler. Jupiter is considered to be the greatest benefic among planets, but my experiences put Lord Saturn ahead of Jupiter in terms of the everlasting benefice he confers on his natives: a wonderful learning experience no matter how tedious, boring and time-consuming it seems. The outcome is nothing short of a miracle.
Moon, Jupiter, Mercury and Lagna Lord Venus are all under Lord Saturn's purview, with the 3rd aspect from the Lagna. Saturn's friends Rahu and Ketu are powerful, too, and act as Lord Saturn's subordinates. I don't know much about functional malefic Mars except he is exalted in the 4th house of Capricorn. However, I have not faced any adverse results in Mars ADs to date.
What is more amusing to me is that "the Royal Don Sun's" punches are effectively countered by Lord Saturn, Rahu and Ketu, collectively. These powerful natural malefics have been very supportive of me, which has left Sun red-faced. Apart from unemployment, Sun has not been able to inflict any damage onto me much to his dismay. Sadly, the King of Planets is in Lord Saturn's Nakshatra, Anuradha! Ketu conjunct Sun in Anuradha Nakshatra is serving as an additional impetus to Lord Saturn's Yogakaraka status, thereby, actively defeating Sun in his misadventures.
Moon MD is the one to watch regarding how I will reposition myself in the Oil & Gas industry, methodically. Lord Saturn's aspect on Waxing Moon would mollify Sun's mischief and wrongdoings, but the results will surely be delayed as the Lord himself demands. Nonetheless, these results will accentuate over the duration of Moon MD, and probably will snowball into upcoming Mars MD. With the onset of Moon MD, my Sade-Sati period will commence and I will witness immense influence of Lord Saturn for the next 7.5 years. Now, Lord Saturn is transiting over my Ascendant along with Rahu, which has made me resilient.
Ketu's movements during Moon MD needs to be closely monitored because Moon is in Mula Nakshatra: the most dreaded among Nakshatras, but if positively placed as it appears to be in my horoscope being in the exalted state could probably propel me to the epitome of material and spiritual successes with cooperation from Yogakaraka Lord Saturn. I truly believe Lord Saturn has big plans for me; therefore, he is illuminating my mind with realistic milestones that need to be achieved over time through diligence, making way for outdated achievements to be archived for future reference if and when required. At the moment, I feel am required to maintain tranquillity to weather trickster Sun's temporary illusions and beguiling.

Dear kguha001,
Destruction and dissolution are not a surprise to a Mula Nakshatra native. It is an ongoing process until death since birth. What it teaches is to develop temperament to acknowledge the pitfalls in one's life, and never give up bewildered with ramifications. As a human being I am appalled with the difficulties, humiliation and penury I have had to encounter, but in the process I have also acquired the skills to survive the tempest.
Adversities make you face the realities of life, straying you away from material richness. Only when you touch base with your roots, you are destined to make clever choices in your lifetime. I would not lay the foundation to a stronger future in the 6 years of Sun's carnage. Alternatively, I will wait for his tantrums to end, but will work on my future projects during these 6 years. I am not sure about you, but Lord Saturn helps me overcome these temporary setbacks, and prevents me from succumbing to human frailties.
He is comfortably placed in the Libra Ascendant which infuses strength into my survival instincts and acquiring new skills with every adversity. Even in Sun MD I pray to Lord Saturn for fortitude, which he kindly blesses me with. I have an excellent teacher, mentor, well-wisher, friend and caretaker in the form of Lord Saturn. What more can I ask? All I need to do is plan for the future with realistic goals and work diligently towards achieving my dreams and aspirations.
What if you have failed for 6 years, you have still got several years to live. Live the remaining years smartly picking up cues from the hardship you faced earlier. I would not let myself to remain in a cocoon for the rest of my life whingeing about how fate played a cruel game on me when most of counterparts were leading their lives like kings and queens. It's better late than never, and thankfully, Moon MD will provide me the chance to live life with newly found aspirations.
Little baby steps help you walk without an adult's assistance. Likewise, when you fall flat on your back, do not assume your spine is broken. A quadriplegic mind fears failures. Never let that happen. Get up, and move ahead. That is how I am going to lead an eventful life.

Kguha,
Your logic is correct, maybe, but then, I have seen destiny defying logic many times. One example I will give you: one of my relatives started working at the age of 40 at the American Embassy. And it was a very good job, and he had a very good career from 40-60 years of age. Even though he didn't do any job before he turned 40, it didn't affect his career when it started at such a late age. It is difficult to believe it, but it is true.

It is a nice example but I am not convinced. So, he was sitting at his home without any work? So he was not married till 40 years old? Not doing any work before 40 may mean he has already has money in his piggy bank.Yellow » Thu May 23, 2013 8:23 pm

Bob,
No, he didn't do any work, as in, he was not earning his bread till he turned 40. He used to write a bit, I heard from my mother. He wrote a few books, which got published later on. Coming to marriage, he got married early and his two sons and one daughter were grown up children when he joined the job.
And yes, he had family money, of course. They were affluent, so he didn't need to do a job and could have led his life without it. But my point is, it is never later in context to anything as long as destiny is in your favour.
I will give another example: one of my relatives again: he passed class 10 with third division. Maybe he failed. I am not sure. Then he somehow finished class 12 and left studies. His mother was invalid, so that was maybe something, which had got his sad, making him leave his studies. His father retired, and with the pension money he got, they were living an ordinary life. He refused to go to college and didn't do any work also other than serving his mother. His father died, and the pension stopped. They didn't have even food to eat. They lived in a joint family, and the other members of the family used to send them their meals sometimes. That was the situation, but still he refused to work. Many of his relatives said they would get him a job so that he could earn his living, but he refused. He said to them either he would make it on his own, or he would not do anything. He also said it was destiny and used to sing songs and stay calm and relaxed like there was nothing to be stressed about.
He had been learning astrology then and predicted correctly for people, too. He must have seen his own chart as well and was confident that he would do well in life. My father, who was into astrology at that time had told him that he would be a huge success someday when he was not having proper meal to eat even and had that attitude of not doing anything and depending on destiny with no academic background. He also believed the same and was waiting for his good times. Time passed. His relatives mocked him and said he would always remain a failure. He kept a calm attitude and sang songs in a relaxed manner and of course kept serving his mother with all his heart. A reputed astrologer at that time also had said about his great success.
He after that took a loan from his relative of 1 lakh rupees. I think he was in his mid-twenties then. From the age of 19 to 24, 4-5 years he didn't do anything, then he took the loan and did a computer course from NIIT. After that he applied for jobs, and his first job was in the World Bank, I think. I don't know how he got a job in such a good organization with such a poor academic background and no recommendations, but he did. He was always very smart and was very handsome. The job was not a high paying one, though. So he made a humble beginning in a very good organization. Then he started leaving jobs because of small issues and got new ones, like he was the most eligible candidate in the city, which were in Discovery Channel, Home TV, Nasscom etc--all big organizations. And people whom we see on TV used to call him at home, and he used to interact with them on a daily basis.
Now he is doing some work online. The same guy, who didn't have food to eat one day is quite wealthy now, having his own car and wearing Rolex watch, which costs a couple of lakhs. How does one explain his life logically? Can one?

Can one?

This is what. That's why he did not try for jobs till he actually felt the need as he was sure of inheriting sooner or later. They were affluent, so he didn't need to do a job and could have led his life without it. But my point is, it is never later in context to anything as long as destiny is in your favour.
Yes, that is true, I agree, but I wrote about that person because it was said here that if the foundation is bad, then it is difficult to do something later on: as you see, in this case, he was a fresher till the age of 40, with no job experience, but even then, he didn't have a problem in getting a good job, which makes one point clear, it is never too late, and one can start his life at any time as long as the stars are in his favour.
Few months back my father attended the marriage of a person, who is 50 years old. It is his first marriage. The wife is also of around the same age. And if you see, so many people lose hope of getting married once they cross the age of 35-36. Two of my relatives got married at the age of 40, so it is not like this that once you cross your mid thirties you can't get married. So to conclude, there is no age for career, marriage or for that matter anything. Destiny has the power to defy all logic.

This is really inspiring!! And I agree on your latest post!I will give another example: one of my relatives again: he passed class 10 with third division. Yeah, Bob, it indeed is inspiring, the story of his life. And you know what he told me: he said, it's all destiny. When the right time comes, everything becomes okay, but until then, how much a person may try, nothing will work out. That's what he has learned from his experience in life.

NOW THIS IS INTERESTING......If all things which happens is destiny then why care about astrology and wear stones and bang head on the wall...Why even try...because all is destiny....I don't know what is the right answer but when you life is put on hold and you sleep every night hungry and tensed all godliness goes down the drain....

Best regards,
