2nd guy suggested: Diamond
3d guy suggested : Coral and pearl
I am not sure what is the right stone.. I am Libra ascendant. sun and Mars are
enemies of venus. So some suggested I
shouldn't wear the gemstones of sun and Mars.
what are the right gemstones.. Can some experts help here.?
My details are as below
DOB : 6th sep 1971
Place of Birth : NAGPUR, India ( 21.15 N and 79.09 E)

I am mainly responding only to highight (assuming time you gave is correct) that
your problems are well explained by
your horoscope.
No amount of GEMS will solve your issues...
Using libra asc - you are running dasa of Ketu in 10th house (Ketu is in sign
cancer). Ket is aspected by Saturn from 8th,
Jupiter (6th lord, a malefic planet for your lagna) and Mars (2 and 7th lord a
maraka that can give health issues, and
drain your energy a lot).
This Mars is also aspecting your lagna lord, and also its own house 7th. Aspect
of of Mars on Aries is a welcome feature,
depending on your spouse's chart, the marriage issues needs to be assessed.
Many vedic astrologers will recommend a ton of GEMS, wear it in the right
muhurta, this is not correct, wear a different
quality emerald etc. They will also recommed you to wear that in the right
muhurta and will tell you the place that sells
good quality GEMS. After, 6 months, when you go back to them, with no change in
your situation, they will bring up new
issues (bhukti of this planet is over, now you have to wear something else, or
they will say, change the finger in which
you are wearing this ring etc)..
Please be advised, that all these BOGUS remedies will make somebody else richer
and your problems will not get solved.
Trust in your own problem solving skills, prayer and advise from your well
wishers (parents, uncles).
Remedies- Do they work or not?

Ofcourse, one should have trust in one's problem solving skills, only if Mercury is unafflicted for it gives one intelligence to face the problem and also 3rd Lord should be strong enough to come out of one's problems on our own. So, we see that It is purely destiny.

Case of a Kal Sarpa Yoga and fraudulent astrologers-
One person has shown his chart to one reputed astrologer. His problem was he was not getting a good job. The astrologer clearly told him that due to the presence of Kal Sarpa Yoga, he would only meet with failures. Scared, he decided to do the remedy as suggested by him. This remedy will remove the defect and he would enjoy great success. However, the astrologer told him that the puja would be done in the auspicious days in March.
He had shown to the other astrologer who had predicted that he would get job by Feb. He did not ask him to do remedy.
As predicted by the second astrologer, he did get job in the month of february.

But still the person did remedies for Kal Sarpa Yoga in March. Nothing big happened after remedies. But few months later, due to some reasons, he was fired from the job. Remedy again failed.
Now this person after some years, visited the local tantrik, who also said the same thing about Kal Sarpa Yoga and blamed that fraudulent astrologer and asked him to do the Puja at Trimbakeshwar. He gave the number of the person to be contacted there.
He boarded the flight. After some days, visited the temple and met the contacted person. He gave him the room to rest and told him what he had to the next day.
The next day puja was performed and after everything over, he returned. He kept trying for jobs but with every passing day, he was getting depressed and wondered when the remedy would work. Someone told him that it took 40 days to show the effect. 40 days passed and he still remained jobless. Then he met another astrologer who said he would soon get some good news after some months. He did suggest to wear some ring stone but left the decision to him. But he did not wear. As predicted, he got the good news in the month as correctly predicted by the 4th astrologer.

In astrology, there is a house and a planet, which shows how much effort we will put in life, there is a planet and a house, which shows whether we will be logical and intelligent or not, and there is also a house and a planet, which shows whether we will be religious or not. Now, if our efforts, our intelligence, our belief in God are dependent on the planets, then how can we say that the efforts are as per our own will, the decision makings are as per our own will, and the belief in God and praying to Him and doing remedies, like chanting prayers to Him are as per our own will?
If a person is an atheist and doesn't believe in remedies, he will not do them even if he is asked to do them, but why is the person an atheist? Is it his choice, or is it already written in his birth chart that he will be that? Same goes for those, who believe in putting efforts and those, who takes good decisions as per their intelligence.
Now, coming to remedies that we hear so much about, I have nothing against them. I will be the first person to go for it if I get some good reports from people about them, but then, I don't get good reports about them, ever, which is the sad part. I get to hear a lot of praises for them on forums and books, but when it comes to people from the real world, I hear about how remedies have not worked for them.
I am sure there are many people here on this forum itself, who have got remedies done before joining this forum. I will ask them to come and give their feedback that they did remedies, and they helped them. I will change my mind about remedies that very day, but please, no quotes from books and articles. I want feedback from the people of this forum. I am yet to come across anyone here on this forum, who says he has been benefited by remedies.
Now, if someone wants to believe in remedies, he may. I have never said that I am the authority on that matter. I have done a remedy, and it has not worked for me. I had bought a pearl of Rs 10000 and was assured that it would help me, and it did nothing for me. I have seen people around me, who have called God with all their heart and still suffered like anything. So, I have a right to share my thoughts, too, on the topic. I can't be a hypocrite, saying that remedies will work when they have not worked for me and my friends and relatives.
Coming to destiny, it's not that I like saying it's all predestined, that I am saying it. That's what life has shown me, not just from what I have experienced, but from what people around me has experienced. So, should I in spite of that say no, everything is not predestined because some books say so!
I believe what I see, not what I read. When I will see that the efforts put by each and every person will give them good results, when I will see that the remedies done by each and everyone are showing good results, I will stop saying that destiny is predestined, but till then, I will say what I have experienced in my life, and what I have seen happening in other people's lives.

OMG even after spending 10000 rs, it did not work. This again proves the gems can't alter one's destiny. Now, if someone wants to believe in remedies, he may. Your gem's experience reminds me of one person. He belonged to the business family. His business was not giving good results. When we met some years back, I was aghast to see so many costly stones in his right hand. But when we again meet after sometime, all stones gone. His business is still not giving results as expected.
I looked at his chart and he was running sade-sati and I kept my silence.
I looked at his chart and he was running sade-sati and I kept my silence.
I think it is wrong of a person to force his belief on others. I have never told anyone to not believe in free will, I have just said that I don't believe in it. The same way those who don't believe everything is predestined, should not force others to believe what they believe in.
In a forum the thoughts and views of each and everyone should be equally respected, but sadly that's not how it works here. I hope one day things will change and people will learn to respect each others view.

Welcome aboard, Iliah. You are a new member here and hope you enjoy your stay here.!?! 10K for a pearl? Pearl is one of the cheapest navaratnas. Very good quality pearls of 5 carats can be bought for 2k. One doesnt have to believe or not believe in astrology or the effectiveness of its remedies to get cheated. No wonder you are disappointed in remedies.
By the way can you give the link where the high quality pearl are available for rs 2000 in Bangalore or Delhi?

There has been some negative reactions by some members without bothering to understand why I did not seek God's help and some wrote I used my so-called freewill. Ha ha..I was laughing at their comments and so decided to clear it up now.Today, something a remarkable incident happened with me.
It was raining heavily and I was getting late but I had to reach the place. I had not expected flooding on the road. Due to heavy flood with knee deep water, I was afraid that my car would break down soon. However it got stuck in the midway.
I was getting late and was getting anxious. I was looking for a miracle. Suddenly, the thought of praying to Almighty came to my mind. However, I realized not to use it and instead rely on my own strength and decided to look for the other alternatives. Started looking around for a way, I asked the car driver, behind me, to back off. I started the engine and drove backwards, found a gap in the divider, took the right turn and came out of the flood and drove to the place.
The moral of the story- Don't use God for your selfish means. Try on your own! God do not have time to answer to the millions of selfish prayers in his mails in His laptop
The fact of the matter is that People with strong 3rd Lord always believe they are their own master of their destiny. They are destined to think that way. .
I remember one proverb which the senior member had told to yellow- " That on every grain of rice is written the name of every person" It is quite surprising to see that he has now changed his mind and now advocating the so-called freewill. Maybe Yellow remembers and if wishes, can quote the exact saying.

The failed & unsuccessful people on this forum searching reasons in stars & planets. And throwing all blames on planets. Destiny is reaction of free will. Astrologers told me I can not get married but I married. I have 2 wives & 2 sons ,1 from each. Now going to marry third time in first quarter of next year.
This is all my free will. Astrologers are scratching their head.
So dear all unsuccessful & unhappy people on this forum due to career, marriage or other issues go & search the actual reason & rectify it if you want.
Look at his post. Underlined part. Judge for yourself what this person is. I rest my case.

The Tragedy of Kala Sarpa Yoga
January 25, 2007
Vedic Astrology Diary Archives
By K.N. Rao, from his website www.journalofastrology.com
(Written on November 26, 2006)
Human life has enough tragedies, enigmatic turns and twists which come in most unexpected and unanticipated ways. When someone goes to an astrologer he is already 'half dead' and wants to know if some relief is promised. Instead, if he is frightened and asked to spend a huge amount on shantis (remedial measures) of various types, to prevent the ill effects of kala sarpa yoga (all planets positioned between Rahu and Ketu) what is you opinion of the moral character of the astrologer? Or if the astrologer is pretending to be a religious man and prescribes worship find out how much money he is making through astrology in devious ways. He is again less of a JYOTISHACHARYA (teacher of Jyotish) and more of an UPAYACHARYA (teacher of remedial measures).
Some years before my retirement, a rich Marwari woman, to whom I had given a good prediction about her daughter in Calcutta, came to meet me in Delhi where she had moved with her husband. She took me one day to her house to meet a ninety six years old astrologer and introduced me to him as an astrologer. This aroused the ire of the very old man because he called astrologers “thugs” and asked me why had I decided to become one! The lady explained to him that I did astrology academically and gave consultations for free. The old man quietened down. He had some very novel methods of predicting and appeared outdated to me, not in tune with the changed times in which we live. But the word “thug” rang in my ears for many years and still a feeble echo of it is left in my memory.
The Thuggery of Astrologers
The thuggery of astrologers can be seen in the upayas or remedies they prescribe - upayas for anything and everything, even for cancer patients in the terminal stages, for AIDS patients, for most unscrupulous men and for totally unscrupulous purposes involving sex, money and crime. Reading of sage Varahamihira convinces us that this tendency to become a thug among astrologers must have existed earlier also.
One fellow who has made a fortune from kala sarpa yoga (I came to know later) asked me why was I depriving some poor Brahmins of their livelihood! These fellows who were frightening people and making money through fraudulent means had no iota of Brahmanism in them. (There is no basis for kala sarpa yoga in the classic texts). They were no better than muggers of US streets or the goondas who show knives and deprive you of your money in Indian streets or buses. He kept quiet but he continues to make money from kala sarpa yoga.

Contd.
As the society grew prosperous men became more and more immoral, with marriages breaking down, sexual morality becoming an outdated concept for some rich and some prosperous upper and even lower middle class men and women, even girls now. Then there is job tension and there is the worry of a traditional Hindu mother to seek a right husband for her daughter within her caste! The tensions are enormous and people are in search for quick solutions to their problems.
Here the astrologer, ever ready with a remedy, is in demand.
This astrologer must first create fright in the minds of his clients and it is done most easily by pointing out kala sarpa yoga or even 'half' kala sarpa yoga. Here he promises to perform a yagna at a cost of some thousands of rupees for shantis. This is the prerogative of the Brahmins. So kala sarpa yoga is a big and newly discovered source of income for Brahmins which is pitiable. Brahmins were meant to be the beacon lights of dharma and spirituality if they themselves reached higher stages of sadhana. But so many of them have become kala sarpa yogis! But such is their miserable plight that they need kala sarpa yoga to survive!! They would keep kala sarpa yoga alive somehow.
Here is an instance. A fraudulent astrologer runs his paid advertisements on a religious TV channel and advertises himself aggressively to earn fabulously through kala sarpa yoga. He gets yagyas (fire ceremony) done at his house for those people with horoscopes which have the fraudulent kala sarpa yoga. He gets Brahmin priests and has it done at the cost of twenty five thousand rupees per person. In a rich city like Delhi, the richest city of India, he is never short of clientele.
One girl had come to Delhi from Jabalpur, shown her horoscope to him and since he was getting kala sarpa yoga shanti done at his house, he asked her also to pay for it as her horoscope too suffered from this “defect”! She fell into the trap.
Ignore Kala Sarpa Yoga
If someone tells you that a particular horoscope suffers from kala sarpa yoga, do not be carried away by it. It is for you to examine the motives and knowledge of the astrologer pointing it out. In these days of commercialism invading all fields and astrology in a very big way do not fall into the traps of these astrologers. And the flood you see on the internet to which most are getting addicted can be further danger of spreading wrong astrology as has been happening for more than a decade now.
What must be done is to examine the horoscope on its merits and demerits which means the achievements shown on the positive side and the obstacles coming because every horoscope has it.

True. No doubt, Remedies and prayers do not work for you and your friend. However, for the rest of the people on this forum, there is hope.
Now the question is, How can man commit a sin if every thing is pre - destined and there is no free will??

Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji
