Dear Aziko,
Neelam is the gem stone referred to appease Lord Shani. For Gem ascendant, shani is the lord of 8th house(not good) & 9th house of fortune & placed in friendly house of Taurus (but 12 house). As 12th house is the house of lose, i would not recommend neelam for you.
