Can anybody shed some light on my past?

Respected members of this forum,

I have gone through this forum day and night, reading various different topics and also trying to learn astrology myself but I believe it will take quiet some time for me to grasp all this. I was wondering if any of you could help me via astrology regarding my love life-love past/future. My past: I was in a relationship with a girl since around September 2007 until Feb of 2011. I was wondering if we will ever get back together? I truly feel she was my soul-mate and we were born to be together forever. But due to religious differences my parents contacted a tantrik to do some prayog[magic] to separate us. I think I like believing it was the tantrik that really separated us but its probably my rahu dasha or some other astrological reason why she left me. I am a hindu brahmin and she is muslim.

I was running Rahu-Venus dasha when I first met her so I believe that is why everything went so smooth and I was so madly in love with her. When Rahu-Sun started for me I changed my entire life for the better and that included us being separated. I don't know if what to do or how to analyze any further about this situation but my chart seems like it will never have success in love..I really want her to be back in my life..
