Rahu has been always been Occult Planet and His Readings varies in Different Books...
I want to ask Question that In some house Rahu is told to be Good ... Like 3 rd , 6 th and 11 th ....
But In Some Samhitas , It has been said that Rahu is also Good at 10th house also ....
In Fal Deepika , it has been said that Rahu in 10th house gives you Rajyog and it gives the Person Good time in 3rd Maha Dasha of his Life ....
While some books say it dnt give Good Results for Father and Profession....

with rahu several things need to be kept in mind-
Is rahu alone in 10th house. Ex. MG- rahu with moon in cancer in 10th house. Gave results of moon in an exaggerated way.
Which planets disposits rahu?
What is the strength of the dispositor? which planet aspects rahu? What is the functional nature of that planet?

The following are the rules for Rahu results:
1. Rahu is one of the most vulnerable planet (others are Mer, Moon & Ketu). Mostly it gives results of its dispositor or planet in conjunction. If alone in 10H, it is good.
2. "When Rahu is in kendra aspected by trine lord or vicevarsa, it is a great rajyoga". 10H is the strongest kendra. If Rahu is here aspected by any trine lord, it is one of the greatest rajyoga.
3. All other planets take time in giving results. Its only Rahu who make hero out of zero in no time. But the sad thing is that whatever Rahu gives in its dasha, at the end of dasha take back all. Ex. Harshad Mehta rose in Rahu dasha and fall when it came to end.
4. BV Raman says antardasha of Rahu in any Mahadasha is never good. We shd check whether it is applicable to the cases when Rahu is in 10H.

You're right. Astrological principles are never like mathematics. There're always clauses & sub-clauses.
I'm firm on the rule that Rahu in kendra & aspected by trine lord is a great rajyoga. But plz so see other combinations too which may dilute its powers e.g. aspect from 6L/8L/12L or inimical aspect by Sat.
This combination works best in Mahadasha of Rahu.
I've found BV Raman's theory also true as in Rahu antardasha, at times gives weird results. Rahu being permanently retrograde its eccentric and may create delay in results, particularly when it is not well connected with Maha dasha lord or is in 6/8 axis to Maha dasha lord.

As Sunil is talking about Mars Aspect on Rahu ... Want to add that Shahrukh Khan is also having Mars Aspect on Rahu ... As it is placed in 4th house.... (Shahrukh have Simha Lagna)
And Rabindra nath tagore may be also have the Same .... ( Not Confirmed )

Rahu is 10H in D-10 is agian gud but primarily it shd be there in D-1. A bad placement in D-1 & in 10H of D-10 may not give that much gud results.
Remember all D-charts are subsidiary to main D-1 chart.

Virgo is consider as mooltrikona sign of Rahu and Rahu gives wonderful results here. It is generally believed that Rahu is unaspected by any planet, gives results as per its dispositor. In ur case its dispositor is Mer who's placed in 12H with 12L Sun & 5L/6L Sat. Rahu is placed in Nakshtra of 12L Sun.
Since Sun's influence is repeating hence it seems it'll give results of 12L in its dasha, which may be rise of expenditures and some connection with foreign.
Rahu is placed in 9H in Gemini sign in D-10 which may be good for career. In D-1 chart, Rahu is placed in 10H from Moon. Professionally the present dasha may be gud for you.
There are some worry points too:

its is being said if rahu is alone it is good....then what about rahu conjuncting a trikona lord....it wont be alone.why it is being said if rahu alone is good.....?

I have rahu in the tenth house in meena .gemini lagna ( 12 march 1969 12 03 noon karachi). my saturn is in aries in the early three degrees in the eleventh house. so does saturn considered conjunct with rahu / ascpect.
since it is a trikona lord...the condition will be rahu conjumct or ascpected by the trikona lord.which is a great rajyoga also jup is in the fourth house acpecting rahu. is another rajyoga with jupiter aspecting saturn ( a kona and trikona lord...9th and 10th lord mutual ascpect ).
