It is said that Meditation practice enhances during Ketu MD. Is this period beneficial for anything else?

It is helpful thank you. I am surprised that Ketu does well in the 6th. I have read that this is the house of it's debilitation. Seemingly because the 12th- being the realm of the subconscious and not of this world is supposedly the house that ketu would do best in meaning the 6th being the realm of the mundane world and being opposite of the 12th would be it's worst place. You mention the depositor- What signs and grahas is ketu considered friends with? I thought ketu and rahu had no friends.
I have Ketu in lagna with Jupiter (DOB Bombay, 10 December 1968, 0152 hours).
During Ketu MD I was a teenager, but I became interested in spiritual things. Even at that age, I read a few books on spirituality and also tried meditation (which I didn't continue with).
During Venus-Ketu dasa, I didn't have a job, so I spent my time reading - not spiritual books this time, but other interesting books which I had wanted to read for a long time. And I spent my time listening to a lot of music - mostly classical music. I kept looking for a job, but I didn't worry too much about being uemployed.
There are many different kinds of spiritual experiences. Good literature, art and music is uplifting and spiritual in quite a different way to traditional spritual practice. It is enriching for the soul to read and to listen to music. It brings you in touch with man's higher faculties.

Lifelong Lessons supposed to be learnt - if you don't keep them in mind, ... thwak - here it comes. You get hit and hit, till you hang a calendar and start counting days.
Good news, only 7 years.
However, I think I would have been happy staying without the lessons. I did get into astrology though. Ketu with uchabhilashi Mercury did that.

Most factors as mentioned by fluid2finance are in my horoscope.Ketu MD was the most beneficial period for me,thus far.
My Ketu-rahu is in 6-12 axis.Ketu conjuncts jupiter in virgo.My Sun,moon,mercury and Mars are in a 3-11 relationship with Ketu and so these AD's were fantastic.Ketu,Rahu,venus(9-5 relationship) and Jupiter were moderate.Saturn (8-6 relationship) was good too but with some anxiety.
Ketu really extracted work out of me being in the upachaya,but i did all the right things (or ketu made me do so)....
