Hi:
Ma 5th lord seems to be placed in gandanta in lagna.
Sa is debilitated in 5th house, mars house. Sa is 2nd and 3rd lord from lagna and 9th and 10th from rasi.
For sagittarus lagna, sa is malefic.
Ve is in papakartari and is aspected by debilitated saturn.
Ju lagna lord is in the 12th.
Ra-ke in 2-8.
Me-su causes budha aditya yoga and dharma karmadhipati yoga(9th 10th lord conjunction)
In navamsa too, sa in in mars house.
No benefic aspect on Sa, Ma , Ra inb both rasi and navamsa
Astavarga for sani is low, shadbala is low too and has high Kasta phala.
Me is debilitated in navamsa and gets neecha bhanga.
Further mars is in ketu's nakshatra who is in 8th.
Jupiter is in saturn's and sat in venus nakshatras and sat and venus are functional malefics for sagittarus ascendant.
Moon is exalted but he is 8th lord in 6th and is afflicted by rahu in navamsa and aspects by ve, ke and me.
A neecha graha in 5th house without any benefic aspects is not good.
You are also running sa dasa sa bukti.
You may have to offer some prayers to saturn, do some charity work helping handicapped, old and destitutes.
Also avoiding nonvegetarian food and leading a principled and dharmic life will help.

That is excellent. That itself is a parihara.

Are you saying that debilitation is not cancelled?
No it is cancelled but still cancellation is never 100%. Neecha effects are always felt initially. 5th is one of the most important houses, you know that.
What exactly does neecha-bhanga RY mean? (Don't just say debilitation-cancellation. - I know that)
Why am I not seeing any cancellation effect? (As I outlined above - there are 2 ways it MUST have gotten cancelled)
Is this concept of "neecha-bhanga RY" real?
How does a native experience the results of neecha-bhanga RY?
See, several people including famous politicians cricketers, saints, musicians have experienced NBRY which had given them high level of success too.
Unlike an uchcha graha, neecha bhanga does give bad things first followed by giving very good things, like compensating for that. But how much good it does depends on how much bhanga has occurred. If you have bhanga in several different ways, then it makes it stronger and gives a very high jump. So Raja yoga may be from a very small benefit to a very great one depending on this, I feel.
Wait for the benefit.
See gochara effects will always be there and so there could be a cumulative effect you may experience at times but when the bhanga effects become strong, then even gochara effects may become inconsequential.
See, your 2nd, 5th and 9th house have relatively lower shadbala values, and these represent your dhan, vak, kutumbha sthana; purvapunya sthana and bhagya sthan respectively. Can you throw some light about yourself on these aspects, your family, money, luck and so on if u have no objection(for better understanding of astrological principles for everyone)?

Why would you doubt my luck? 9th lord aspecting 9th house, it's supposed to strengthen it, right? Further, Sun is exalted in Navamsa. Both 5th lord and 9th lord are very strong in Navamsa - right? I don't know about my luck really. I don't know what yardstick I have to use to measure it. I have been able to have a job always, never in debt. Not rich by any means. All my friends own houses. I don't. If I go on comparing w/ others, I should be considered very unlucky.
Please dont misunderstand me. I was just trying to understand the astavarga values for each house and am doing a kind of research myself, analysing these values and seeing if they really correlate with the happenings associated with that house. In that sense, I was wanting if you were willing to share and there was no compulsion.
I did feel negative effects seriously. During Saturn-Saturn:
-Went through divorce at the onset of Saturn mahadasa.
-During divorce, I lost all my life savings, it was a bad divorce.
-Lost job in early 2009 (first time I ever lost job in my career. Thanks Saturn).
-Relocated West Coast for a job in late 2009.
-My attempt to find a wife have failed. Now, I'm not even looking, (tired of being rejected). I have asked in this forum if there is a 2nd marriage. I saw many discouraging posts. I also asked if Saturn would make me into a monk? Potentially I can. I'm struggling w/ which way I should steer this boat.
-Worst of all, I'm totally gripped by NEGATIVE THINKING, PESSIMISM, HOPELESSNESS etc.
See, the effect of having low astavarga be bindus is showing up in the form of the breakdown of the marriage and the second one not happening and tesnion in the family.
But luckily, all through my life, I have been on a spiritual path, Zen/Vipassana (Buddhism), meditation, acceptance and contemplation of Anitya, Anatta (non-self) etc.
At this point, I'm considering quitting my job and going to a monastery.
I'm pretty sure these are the ill effects of debilitation. I'm not seeing any cancellation. It's only getting worse.
5th and 9th effects also seem to be evident in the sense 9th is 5th to 5th and as per my understanding, purva punya takes some beating and so sort of problems like loss of job, depression, divorce, 2nd marriage not happening etc have been there. That is the reason I wanted to check whether there is some correlation at all.
Thanks anyway for your honest sharing of the events. Your approach of strengthening the 9th would help since it is said that we have to strengthen that house effect which is weak or low in astavarga ie in a way fighting against fate.
