I am trying to figure out the cause of my lack of focus and direction in life, particularly with my career. I'm confused because I have Mercury in Gemini in the 10th house with Mars, and astrologers have been telling me that this indicates a very strong career, that my chart is career- oriented, and that Mars gives power to my career and that I will be very focused with it.
However, so far this is not the case at all. I feel completely lost and directionless. I got stuck in the family business a few years ago after college, and I'm miserable here so I don't consider this my career, nor do I want it to be.
My question is: why would they be telling me these things if it is not happening? Will I have a good career in the future? Is something blocking my mind from getting focused to achieve something? Why am I so indecisive and can't figure out what I want to do?
Or is everything they say about this chart true, but my birth time must be wrong? (if I were born 30 seconds earlier than recorded, the ascendant of my Navamsha changes- would that have an effect?)

Good day Lunari astra,
Its all in the Moon My dear friend . Its all to do with the Moon Look at the Moon's position closely . You will find that , though it is exalted, it is in the Nakshatra of Kuja . Kuja is the dreaded 8th lord for this lagna . Kuja is not in a great position himself . He is in Ardra Nakshatra with his arch enemy Budha .
But the killer stroke is Shani's . Shani casts his aspect within .50 Degrees of the Moon . Shani is the 6th lord . Thus the moon gets the connection to both the 6th and the 8th . Simple but dangeriously effective . The rest I think you can analyse your self . If you doubt my analysis , take a peek at the Shad Bala of the Moon .

My two cents on this.Lagna and sun generally signify the power of the will.here lagna is afflicted by the presence of ketu in hasta nakshatra and sun signifactor of will is in the star of moon the mind and aspected by his dire enemy the saturn who is also the lord of the fifth house.this native must propitiate sun god for things to turn around in a positive manner. if the will becomes stronger then the mind wandering can be kept in check,

Thanks to everyone for looking at my chart.
I already do mantras for the Moon...For Kuja's influence should I do remedies for him as well, or should I be doing remedies for Budha to lessen his negative effects on Kuja? (would helping Kuja make his influence nicer or more powerful?)
What about Shani- should I do remedies for him to reduce his negative influence, or even more remedies for the Moon to protect it?

I read that the dispositor of a planet is the ruler of the sign on the cusp of its house- so each planet has 2 dispositors (one from the beginning and one from the end cusp of its house)?

I was always cautious of strengthening my Sun because I was concerned about it making my Moon more combust- is this something I should be worried about? I'm working towards finding what I want but it is difficult. I'm not sure if it's because I really don't know what I want, or if it's hard for me to commit to what I am interested in because of how expensive education is and because everyone criticizes my interests for being impractical.Is it possible to be able to see in a chart what someone is meant to do in life?
