Dear Kandhan,
the 5th from the 8th i.e 12th shows the exit path...whihc could be a perosn ( such as mother or brother's support) or a karkatwa ( such as religion or leadrrship)......and not necessarily the planet / diety to appease.

I would interpret the above in blue as 5th from the 8th showing the answers / fruits of your prayers...and not necessarily the deity to appease.

I had a very difficult child hood, education went well but career has been Topsy-Turvy, I lost my visa in the US 2 years back and I am finding it hard to get it renewed. I am also running sade sati. I had 3 severe brain surgeries in Chicago during 2006 - 2007. Currently back in India, trying desperately for a job in the US/ and visa renewal.I have no interest in marriage. My ascendant was a confusion ( between aries and pisces) and people in this forum corrected my time of birth. So I am going by that time here.
1) When will my job situation/(visa renewal) improve?
2) Do you foresee any major health problem like I faced before?
3) I would like to start on house construction, but unfortunately it is not materializing. My neighbor has encroached part of my land and I have been complaining to the authorities
4) Will I ever get married and if so how will be married life.

--Trimamsa Lagna Lord is Shani lording the 10th and 11th house the cause of most grief as it brings out the 6th house significations of disease, hurdles, enemity because it is seated in the 6th house....especially in amtetrs related to profession and income.

--and shani being in the 8th house of D-30 is further confirmation of the source of trouble.

--The nodes are seated in the 12th house of your D-30 making the exit path more in the hands of fate then in yoor control.

Now let's look at the Rasi chart

--Althouhg Shani is from multiple sources seen to be the grief giver....it is not an out-and-out complete malefic for you...it gives you mixed results.
Just that currently it is transiting over your natal Shani whihc happens to be in the 6th house also....is why it is so severe.

--that was coupled with the period of Jup-Sun ending in Oct 2010....and sun, the lord of 5th is debilitated in the 7th.

--the disease/ health, income loss, enemity type situations will ease a lot after November...when shani moves to Libra....actually you may have already seen relief since May when Jupiter transitted into Aries...your lagna house.


--Rahu is in the fourth house indicating possibilities for foreign settlement, whihc is further confirmed by the 9th and 12th lord being same, Jup although in the 6th.
Rahus is in Mercury's nakshtar whihc is combust in Rasi....making Rahu malefic in Rasi chart...casuing problems in happiness at home.

Thank you very much for your analysis. Just one more clarification:-
1) 3 planets in 6th house
2) 7th lord Venus is debilitated in 6th house ( Although there is parivarthana between 6th and 7th - considered bad). Venus is also in 12th of navamsha. Sun is also debilitated in 7th house
Considering this, would I be better of without marriage? Please let me know. I wouldn't want to invite more miseries and misfortunes after getting married.

Do I have Sade Sati now?

sorry it took me a while to get back on this...however here is what i think:

--7th house has the 3rd, 6th Lords combusted in it...however Moon is friendly in the 7th house.
It's an afflicted house, but not completely damaged.

--8th house is strong with Ma in his own house and indicating conjugal bliss when it happens.

--Venus the karak of marriage and Lord of 7th is average to weak in Rasi

in D9

--7th Lord Jup is extremely well placed in the 10th house in Pisces.....and Venus the Karak of marriage is also very well placed in his own house.

Navamsa is very strongly postive for marriage and hence your married life will last. It will have it's shares of troubles especially during the Me periods...but it will last and should yield you emotional and phsyical fullfillment.

--you may have missed opportunities to get married between April-07 to dec 09 ?

---you have another window from now until Feb-12

--Pray/ Fast on Wednesdays.....will ease the getting married and sustenance of it when it happens

--Blue sapphire or any shani stone is absolutely not advisable.

It will enhance the malefic affect of shani in your life.

prayers as recommdned earlier are the best remedy.

You could wear a yellow-sapphire or pokhraj in the index for Jupiter.

--2nd marriage is indicated by the end house in Rasi and Navamsa.

--2nd lord is Venus which is not malefic, but placed in the 8th house, mixed....however the 2nd house gets the drishti of a debilitated Mars in Rasi...and the phsyical / emotional fruits of even the 2nd marriage are seen from 7th.

--2nd Lord sun is neutrally placed in 5th house in navamsa

--2nd marriage won't be as bad...but will not be easy either...largely becaise of debiliotated mars' drishti

D60 and D1 are to be read in pairs........which I can understand.

& D30 ( Trimsamsa) is to be seen with the Hora (D2) chart.

Does anyone know why D30 is paired with D2?

D2 deals with Sampatti. The word Sampatti does not only mean material wealth but all means of sustenance including mannerism, nature and attitude towards life as a whole.

D30 indicates evils, inclination of natural traits based on Trigunas - Swatic, Rajas and Tamas. Like in my case my D-30 has Taurus rising and hence ruled by Venus and Venus is a Rajastic planet. So I more inclined to be Rajastic amongst other factors like the number of planets in various signs in the Rasi chart.

So D30 is more like a hidden attitude shrouded in a veil and D2 represents more of your general attitude which is known by everybody who is acquainted with you for some time. Only really close ones know about your D30.
