What do I say: destiny has already started misguiding me! :mrgreen: I hope when the time for my marriage comes, you will not be misguided. :mrgreen: Will make another astrologer check your chart, to make sure that you will be giving accurate predictions and making good judgement of a chart then. If the other astrologer will also be running a bad planetary period to wrongly interpret your chart, I will surrender to destiny and hope for divine intervention. :D

Yeah, thanks for promising to take a look at the charts when the time comes for my marriage. I am expecting it to happen in my Venus-Mercury period, which will start in mid 2012. Venus is the lagna lord of the navamsha, and Mercury is in the navamsha lagna. :mrgreen:

Dear Basab,

Don't go for Mesh lagna women. They are a pain in the rose.

And Swamykool, what is the reasoning behind this astrologically? Is it because the lagna and 8th lord is mars However Isnt mars auspicious for Aries lagna?

Swamykool,

I will never ever go for Aries/Scorpio lagna because I prefer women from Venus, than from Mars, but then, with Aries as my 7th house, I wonder whether destiny will let me make a choice in regard to that. :mrgreen: Maybe I will match the charts and get married, and then told of an am/pm locha in time of birth given to me, with the lagna changing 180 degrees from Libra to Aries. :mrgreen:

They don't listen to anybody. More often than not end up on their rear ends, and then loudly blame the whole world and everything under the sun except themselves. They are rather quarrelsome, not for any reason, they fight because they love to fight. Of course the position of Mars is extremely important for aries lagna. If Mars is with mercury, god help you. Permanent foot-in-mouth disease to begin with. This I am telling from experience.

I agree this joking about marriage thing is not funny at all. Since yesterday I have been cursing myself that I am Libra lagna after I read the thread here. :mrgreen: Raman ji has promised to match charts, that is a consolation, though. :D

Oh Come on Swamykool, you are an accomplished astrologer and very well know that just your lagna alone doesn't mean your marriage is doomed. There are other planets, combinations and aspects to look for - to add to or deduct from the basic premise.

I am Libra lagna, and though I am a senti. person, I don't use that as a skill to win women's heart. :mrgreen: I don't show that side of me to anyone in the real world. I keep it to myself. :mrgreen:

Take my words: no guy likes a fiery/martian woman. Guys always prefer women, who have strong Moon and Venus and Jupiter; no way a strong Mars. :mrgreen:

Dear all,

The librans and the ariens (lagnas) generally dont gel well simply bcos of the reasons that one person's badakesh is another ones yogakaraka and viceversa. In this case of libra and aries relative position of sun and saturn and the strengths need to be focused much more in matching apart from the nakshtra in the position of the moon.

See, the cool indecisive libran's water content when merges with the fiery dynamism of Mars's fire, the net resultant is lot of smoke, which is unpleasant. But after sometime once the smoke vanishes (i can tell u that this takes quite a while) then life becomes more meaningful. As Mars takes rest after his stormy adventure in the cool shade of libra and the ever indecisive cool libran sees the protective energy of the Mars.

You having Mars in lagna, love Martian woman, but I don't. :mrgreen: My first criterion will be, no martian lagna, and no iunfluence of Mars on the person's nature: that is no Mars' influence on lagna, 4th house and 5th house in her chart. I will reject the chart otherwise. :mrgreen:

Sun can never be a yoga karak because it does not own 2 houses, only leo. Technically Aries lagna does not have any yogakarak (lord of both kendra and kona) at all. I guess your point would be one's badhakesh is another's 5th L (Sun). And you bet that creates a hell of a lot of smoke. This is enough to ruffle anybody's equianimity. :shock:

You also forgot to mention one's yogakarak (Sat) is another's labhesh (11th L). No wonder money will flow out like bloody water. :twisted:

I shall elaborate on more connections when I get my mojo back in working order. :mrgreen: 8)
