Saturn-Mars transit in Virgo and libra

Thanks a lot Saindhaviji. I have started to study with seriousness again, let's see what the result will be. Can I do any specific chantings and remedies for sandhi planets, in my case, Me and Ve? This is one area I never dived into (sandhi planets), so I am unaware.

Interesting thread I must say, learnt a lot today. My two cents:

My details are - 23NOV1979, 3;20 am, Lucknow.

I have Virgo ascendant with Shanidev in first house and Mars in 12 along with Ju and Ra. I am going through Mo - Su mahadasa, as of now. Mo is in 4th and Su in 3rd with Ve and Me (combust and retro).

I chant some mantras and stutis as a part of daily routine - Gayatri Mantra, Narayan Kavach and Mahamrityunjay Stuti (written by Lord Raam) and Astadashloki Geeta to name some.

I have been away from home since Jan end 2012 and currently located US for an onsite project.On Jun 7-8 I started to have a tooth ache, which severed on 9th (Saturday) and there were no doctors available. I wreathed in pain and even cried. I was able to get some pain killers, but by evening I thought of chanting Mahamrityunjay Stuti 8 times (which my Guruji says is equal to 1 lakh Shani mantras). I did that and watched the Aarti at Somenath Temple, and believe it or not the pain was gone. At that time Sa was aspecting Me in Ge (in my chart Sa is aspecting Me by 3rd aspect). Any thoughts?

I had a bit of pain around 28th Jun, but again Mahadev came to my rescue.

Besides this, I have seen sudden surge of work when Ma moved to Virgo, and the work has hence speeded up. When Ma moved to Virgo, I was able to meet the a big-shot of my project, about which no one knows, and now I am in his good books (he is an American). For past 1 and half weeks, I have landed over something completely new, which I left doing 5 years from now, coding. I took that up enthusiastically and now I am finding a bit difficult to finish the task by deadline which is July 27. It is to be presented to the same big-shot I mentioned. I am loosing on confidence a bit at workplace.

But since 3 days now, I have started to feel more confident (in general) and I am becoming a bit fearless too. Since the Shukla Paksha of Saavan month started, I have got good news about friends and I am feeling a bit elated than usual.

I restarted my blog on May 20, and from Jun 24, I started it with a force that today I completed 51 posts. I shared it on FB too today. In past 3 days I have got feedback from friends about it and I also met a friend, who has a very spiritual background (I did know him that well previously). My belief in the Lord has suddenly increased to a greater degree.

Now something that will make you laugh. I have my GMAT exam on Aug 9, and I am not studying for it properly. I want to move ahead with higher studies and now I am loosing enthu to study for the exam. Saindhaviji, can you please guide me for this? I have already appeared for it once and scored a bit less than I wanted (or felt confident about).

So even though I am feeling confident, I am not studying for exam I am still feeling good and positive, I dunno why? Can someone please help me understand this?

Yes, Mars transit may have given that extra boost of courage to face any pending problems but Mars' aspect on 4H, 7H, and 8H may have created some problems in marriage, relationships, etc. Jupiter's benefic aspect on Virgo may provide some relief to the virgo natives. I too am feeling somewhat similar for the past couple of days to be precise from the beginning of July. However, teh effect of Virgo in paapkatari has taken a huge toll on my health. Furthermore, MArs and Saturn conjunction in Virgo (although the effect is diminished) and later LIbra is going to create several holes in my pocket.

Family part has been dismal since long, around 3.5 years now, and I am loosing hope for rectifications! Do you see things getting improved anytime in life? The events have actually made me selfless.

How many is 'couple', sorry for being picky. I have been waiting it seems for eternity now, last Nov 2011 is when my Mahadasha has started and as Ambisan said, Saturn was in Libra before retro-gating to Venus. How would the upcoming entry in Libra change things for better.

I was also told something about Ra-Ke 2-8 axis, maybe that delayed things for me. BTW, Rahu mahadasha was good for me overall. Jupiter mahadasha was not that great.

Sorry, I missed your comment above.

Seeing your chart again,

Your Ketu is fine.

The problem is your Rahu, who has created Guru Chandal Yoga with Jupiter in 8th house and is also conjunct with 10th lord Moon.

Mercury the ruler of your Bhagya is in Sandhi (transition zone), though Sun is giving you the effect of 9th house.

But Rahu affliction to Jupiter and Moon is a cause for concern. Moon's exaltation of 8th house is also not good for your overall growth. Rahu too has made 8th house powerful, which goes against you.

In Gochar, Libra Lagna people have been feeling the effect of retrograding Saturn in Lagna for quite some time and also of 12th Saturn in Virgo.

Your time should improve from this October onwards when Saturn becomes properly exalted and Mars leaves Libra, but all Mercury, Moon, Jupiter and Rahu periods in your chart will slow you down with delays, obstacles, anxieties and overall problems.

Rahu may give you money, but it will increase enemies in your life, who will conspire against you behind your back.

As I wrote earlier, Saturn will be in Sandhi till 20th of August and after that conjunct with Mars till September end, so we have to wait till October to get the effect of exalted Saturn - hence, my comment about a couple of months.

Remedies -

1 - Wear white sandalwood necklace, opal 6.3 carats set in silver and emerald 4.5 carats set in gold.

4 - Offer milk to Shiva Linga on Mondays either in a temple or at home.

Thank Saindhavi. I got career boost during Rahu mahadasha and overall it was a better period. But Jupiter and especially the Jupiter/Rahu antardasha saw the enemies conspiracy thing you mentioned and overall the whole Jupiter mahadasha was stressful (relocated few times).

My Moon/Mercury/Venus are vergottam. But then Moon is in 8th house in Rasi chart and at the same time lord of 10th house.
Mercury is ruler of Bhagya but in transition and also very feeble (29 degrees). It being aatmakarak, do you still recommend Emerald?
Again, Venus is lord of 8th house but is also in 10th house, and lord of Lagna (Libra) and Rashi (Taurus).
Also, in D-10 Rahu is in 10th house driving my profession I believe, but then it's in 8th house of Rasi chart.
Does all this nullify the good vegottam can bring?

Could you please reflect on above? It seems Jupiter has not been too good to me (and as you said, due to Rahu affliction). Saturn, I am still counting on as it is the first Non-8th house Mahadasha that I got. Thanks.

That's why emerald has to be worn - to strengthen a weak Mercury which is in transition zone, and opal for Venus, which is in inimical sign in 10th. Both are giving weak effect. One is a ruler of Bhagya and the other Lagna Lord.

Lagna chart is the primary chart and secondary charts can't overtake it. The malefic effects of Lagna chart have to be tackled, otherwise the good placements of planets in secondary chart s won't have much effect.

I have suggested you religious remedies for Moon.

If you wear emerald and opal, you can't wear a pearl, hence you have to do religious remedy for Moon.

Zircon is not useful. Diamond is the primary gem for Venus. You can get 2.7 carats, but if you can't afford diamond, you can buy white sapphire 4.5 carats or opal 6.3 carats.

You can wear opal on ring finger on Friday and emerald on little or middle finger on Wednesday.

Well...To be Honest, Abt remedies, i just left doing all the remedies sadly..!! When i was at the fag end of Rahu AD...It just gave me its full-blown effect before leaving : n left with me with an unstable mind, feeling run down, racing thots, etc., etc., forcing me to go into HIBERNATION MODE ...So, it all stopped....BUT finally...this AD has ended...(sigh of relief )

I am software engineer currently earning decent, My aim is to become a natural farmer in 5 yrs, a big farmer atleast one district lives on my products. You can go abroad, save money and invest it in land in India. Alternatively, you can buy land in a foreign country itself and invest in land in India after a while.

You can keep on applying for on-site opportunities, but nowadays these are getting difficult.

So, another option is to enroll in a course and then, while studying there, apply for immigration. With a foreign degree you'll get a job there more easily and later, also immigration.

See the immigration rules of the potential countries before you select an institution, because degrees from some countries don't guarantee jobs in other countries.

You should survey all this before you invest money in a course there.

US, followed by Canada, are the best options for the degree-based route I'm suggesting. Immigration to US is more difficult, but you can always apply for Canada immigration while studying in the US.
