Hasta people are skilled in everything related to hand. They are gifted craftsmen, healers, artists and palmists.
Am I right?

keep smiling :)

nina wrote:Hi,

I would go for Vishakha because one of its symbols (less known of the two I think) is the potter's wheel and here we have a potter. The clay fashioned by the potter is brought to life and shaped into different forms which are the experiences of life that make us mature - while the hands are the hands of destiny. The wheel of the potter also because of great churning that takes place, this is where the Moon gets debilitated.

Excellent answer! Correct! Bonus point awarded.

This one has to be Hasta - the emphasis on each & every finger:
- 4 fingers of the hand show 4 motivations: artha, kama, dharma & moksha;
- the 3 digits on the fingers are the 3 gunas: rajas, tamas & sattva;
- the 4 fingers are the 4 directions: north, south, east & west;
- fingers & thumbs show the 5 senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell & touch;
- fingers & thumbs show the 5 elements: water, earth, sky, air & fire
The hand & the palm is the complete destiny, right & left hands for positive & negative, male & female energies.
The hand shows knowledge and that's why Mercury gets exalted there.

Hello JupiterLight,

It is Moola/Mula NK...
The meaning of the word, Moola means the root.The Symbol is a bunch of roots tied together.
This is the 19th nakshatra of the zodiac and is ruled by Nirriti, the Goddess of destruction.
Moola connotes the ideas of foundation, commencement, from the very bottom.

Keep Smiling :)

Mula. Symbol - a bunch of roots tied together and a teardrop. Ruled by Ketu, deity Nairriti/Alakshmi. First three degrees are gandanta degrees. Seriously bad news.
