--10th lord Moon is cojunct with Asc....9th and 10th lord are not associated.

from 9th house:

-- Sa and Jup are 9th and 10th lords....not associated

from 10th house

--Jup and Ma are 9th and 10th houses....not associated eitehr.

--10th lord Moon is in friendly Venus sign, but rather weak in dasavarga.

--10th Lord Venus is in 8th house in D10 and in a exchage yoga with 8th Lord.....tainting Venus .

--overall you can see the career related charts are only moderate.

--further Jup is debilitated in the 4th...lording 3rd and 6th.....social hurdles plenty...and you are running Jup's MD.

--11th house is the strongest for your chart containing 9,2,7,1 Lord...forming 2 Rajyogas (1-7 and 1-9) and dhan yoga( 2-9) between Ma,Me and Ve...and when they fructify you should see the gains.

I had posted this earlier in the forum, but as desired I am posting again.

I think I have Dharma Karma adhipati yoga since my 9th house (Leo) lord - SUN and my my 10th house (Virgo) lord - MERCURY are both in the 3rd house of my Lagna chart. However SUN in 3rd house is in Aquarius, whose lord is Saturn. Further, Mars in my 2nd house - Capricorn - is in the house whose lord too is saturn and it is also in opposition to Saturn from my 8th house (cancer). Is that the reason that I DO NOT get the full rewards and recognition in my career despite consistently performing better than most peers.

Other placements are Ascendant Sagittarius with Venus. Moon in 4th house (Pisces); Rahu and Uranus in my 6th house (Taurus); Saturn and Pluto in my 8th house (cancer); Neptune in my 10th house (virgo) and Jupiter with Ketu in my 12th house (scorpio).

I have been eagerly awaiting the start of my Surya mahadasha in January 2012, since many astrologers have said that it would give me good results. I am currently looking for a new job since my present job is to terminate by May 2012. However I am rather worried that although Surya-Surya period is expected to bring good results (according to several astrologers), but the current transit of Saturn in Libra might negate the good effects. I will be very grateful if you could advise me about the overall combined effect of Surya Mahadasha and the Saturn transit.

Could you please give my chart a look and tell me if my interpretation is correct.

--yes indeed a DKAY is formed in the 3rd house, throuhg the conjunction of Me and Sun.
Su is innimical in the house of shani and Me is also innimical in that house. Both Me and Su are low in amsabala in the dasavarga charts.
this is the cause for perpetual struggles, limited success and that too after struggles.

--so DKAY is formed...but rather low in fructification because of the innimical placements and low strength in higher charts of the contributing planets.

--in terms of yoga fructification results...you can exepct results similar to those in the Me mahadasa.

-that said your creative skills/ talents and general happiness in life appears very good,.....as Navamsa is quite strong....with Moon in swakshetra, Sahni exlted, Ketu is what many call it's own house scorpio......and Me in swakshetra.

Currently my career is progressing very slowly compared to my peers and I feel it will not progress at all in my current job and I will not rise higher. Is this my fate? the last 2.5 years must have been difficult all round.

--DKAY is not formed.

--however from the 9th house shani becomes the 9th and 10th lord and DKAY is indeed formed, ensuring you will have some limited executive rise in career..

--you are running Ra-Me period which are both in the 11th house...
Me is innimical because it's in the house of Moon....therefore it is an uneasy period, neverthless income should be OK.

A small clarification w.r.t to my profession / career (i am basically into IT Operations i.e. Sales / BD / HR) was an employee for 15 years went to heights of managing 100+ sub-ordinates and for past 3 years running a Consulting Firm focusing on IT and HR activities employing 4 people not able to grow...Based on my chart professional excel will be as an employer or as an employee.....Pls do interpret and advice

--Strong chart from a career POV.....you are right......when jupiter is involved with career houses in a positive and strong way...he pulls the native out of troubles before they can hurt him.

Yes DKAY is not formed and you are right that ain't the only sign of greatness and rise in career.

let's look at this chart:

--10th Lord is Jupiter in his own house.....magnified by a positive Rahu in the 10th acting like Jup and magnifying it's affect.

--sun in it's digbala house of 10th gives executive rise...best house for sun to be in and since the native is born close to mid-day...not surprisingly sun is the highest shadbala planet in the chart of 153%.
--6th and 10th lords are associated.....and have Rahu's association with them.
all the above configurations give him alpha-male charceteristics....hunger, drive amvitions and cut throat competitiveness, driven by intellect ( jupiter)

--and 9th house the bhagyastahn has mars( also L2) in swakshetra.....


the chart is strong an the planets are delivering.

and you arr right DKAY is not the all and end all in a succesful career.

--sun is the ruler of the planetary cabinet.....sun is the leader of the solar system...he is "The King"...he is the head of the Kaal-purush....and rules the soul.

--Sun gives pride, ambition and desire to rule....and if it is placed strong in the chart.......the native succeeds in the enedevour to rule.

--Sun if strong in the chart...will give leadership
sun if in the 10th house automatically gains strength as it is the digbala house for sun....and further if sun is also strong by house placement ( will be indicated by the overall shadbala)........executive rise in professional sphere is promised.
--alternatively if sun is associated with the 10th house, throuhg lordship or aspects or Nakshatra...similar results but to lesser degree are indicated.
--at the smae if the 6th house is associated with the 10th house...the person becomes a karmyogi

--Sun and staurn together association with the 10th house promises a career as a leader in government, politics or even religion.
