The Double Yogakarak

Shilpa Ji,

It seems mine passes the Double Yogakarak test. Shani is YK and Moon in 8th Taurus. Also, Moon, Venus and Mercury are Vergottam too. I am running Shani MD, how does the coming years look for me, anything remarkable? I am enclosing my chart here.

Thanks, I looked it in JHora and Shani has 4/10 is which is the highest amasbala of any planet in my chart but still less than 50%. I hope it is still good enough to give beneficial results.

But since I am a cancer ascendant so the effects would not be that great as you had poined out

Can I still expect mars to bring in windfall gains in its dasha/antar since it is placed in the favourable 5-9 axis wrt moon which being the lagna lord is placed in the lagna itself?

--being a YK doesn't mean all the maleficity is shed off completely...what it means is actually in the original post.

I am capricorn ascendent with moon in aquarius 2nd house. Same combination as you mentioned. I have venus in Libra along with Rahu in 10th house in Rashi Chart. From Aquarius Moon it goes into 9th house. I can give you more details if you require. Does Rahu and Ketu also become yogakaraka here?

Let me give you one way to extend the concept of this thread.

We use the Navamsa, the 10th bhava and the conjunction between kendra and kona lords to add spice to the mixture.

Let's look at my chart.

In the Rasi Chart, Mars is in the 10th and Venus is in the 1st. 10th and 1st bhavas are the most representative of the general fortune of a person. Remember 10th is the 10th of the 1st.

My Mars is :

Yogakarak from the Ascendant of the Rasi Chart.
Yogakarak from the Ascendant of the Navamsa Chart.
Yogakarak from the Moon in D-60 - Moon is in Leo in the D60.
Forming a Rajayoga with Jupiter by conjuncting it from the Ascendant of D-60 (I believe Ascendant of the D60 also has something to deal with past lives and not just from the Moon Lagna of D60 - for the Ascendant of D60 we may not be that conscious of how the past lives karma impact us unlike taking Ascendant from the Moon position in D60).

My Venus is :

Yogakarak from Chandra Lagna in the Rasi Chart.
Yogakarak from the flipped Navamsa (taking the 7th bhava of the Navamsa as the Ascendant).
Forming a Rajayoga with Rahu by conjuncting it in the Ascendant of the Rasi. This position is with reference from the Ascendant of the Rasi Chart itself.

And not forgetting there is a potent Kalpadruma Yoga (Wishing Tree Yoga) with the focal point in the 7th bhava impacting Venus (by opposition aspect) and Mars (by mutual kendra).

In the mentioned chart, Venus and Moon are in graha yuddha, Jupiter in Mrityu bhaga. Saturn's dasa has just started. But Saturn was active in Jupiter dasa too and would have helped even if Jupiter as the 8th lord created some problems.

I'm currently looking at my chart to see if I have this Double Yogakarak, but I'm not sure..
In my case 1st lord and 4th lord are both ruled by Mercury. And 7th and 10th are both ruled by Jupiter. Do I have this placement?

Date of Birth: 02/25/1985, Time: 12:39pm, Stuttgart (Germany).

I'm trying to figure out what it means, too.
