3) Budha in 6th along with Ravi--astha,neecha,shatru rashi aspected by Shani ---- delay in speech,
aspected by Kuja ---- No clearity in speech.

4) Shani + Chandra or Shani + Budha in astha, neecga, shatru rashi in 12th nhouse---- no connection to his speech

5) Budha being the lord of 6th or 12th and in Karka or Vrischika or in Meena aspected by Shani or Kuja ---- MOOKA YOGA

6) Shani in mesha, vrishabha, Simha, Karka, Makara, Meena lagna and having sambandha of Kuja or Rahu or in kkuja or Rahu nakshatra--------- no one can understand his speech

7) Budha in vrishabha rashi and in 90degree or 180degree to Shani ( sthira rashi ) , he will speak very limited and wont like to speak

Budha in kanya aspected by Guru or Shukra---- good speaker

9) Budha in 1-7-10 swa- kshetra, uchha, mitra rashi and aspected by Guru or Shukra---- speaks hrs together and attractive speech.

10) Budha in 1-7-10 in makara, Tula, aspected by Guru or Shukra------ fluent speaker with regard to Karma sambandha, rajakeeya sambandha( politics ) business and arguements sambandha


And lastly ----- If any one is born when Shani in janma lagna with-------- Rahu kaal + vishagalige + ketu janma nakshatra + Saturday +Amavasya then ,u may require 14 Anacins + Lunacins to understand his speech or writing

Very enlightening post. I have 2 questions, if you will answer them pl.

1. Lg Mesh. Deb ketu in 2nd. Aspected by Sun and Ven from 8th. Mer in 7th with Mars and retro Shani in 3rd. How will the speech of this native be??

2.You have said that if Shani aspects Guru in a Chart, it denotes the shaap of a brahman. Through what actions in past life is this shaap created? And how does it affect the native in the present life?

Also, Sir what does it mean if Shani and Guru are 1/7 and aspect each other? Does the shaap become stronger or is it broken?

And Srinivas ji, one very important thing. You have clearly explained the function of the 2nd H in matters of speech. But what is the function of the 2nd Lord?? The 2nd Lord must also have a say, so how does he function??

It will help if you enlighten further, a simple question - my question might seem very basic...but I'd really like to understand this process

How is Navamsa placement taken into account here? For experimentation purposes, I moved the TOB back by about 30 mins, and other than Navamsa ascendent nothing changed.
In the original chart - Navamsa ascendent is in Pisces, in the second artificial chart, it is in Capricorn in Navamsa. THis can mean that even if the baby is born half hour earlier, the same effects will take place?

Its worth also noting that in navamsa, Mercury is in virgo i.e. debilitation, and Saturn with Jupiter is in Libra.

This was an excellent post and i'm lucky to have read it.
I have an interesting case. The following chart belongs to one of our workers we recently hired.

14/04/1988, 14:26, Kaposvar, Hungary, Europe

Both his parents are deaf and mute. He was forcibly taken away from his parents by the goverment agency at age of half years, due to their disablement and was grown up by his grandparents.

According to what you wrote on speech defects here is what i thought could be the case.

First mother:

Lagna is Simha, so Maatra sthana is Vrishchika. Shani is in dwitiya sthana dhanush(from Vrishchika). Vaakadhipathi Guru is in shashtha sthaana with mauna karaka ravi. Guru has dur drishti from rahu and Kuja. Next thing is that this same Guru is in Bharani Nakshatra with Nakshatresha Shukra, who in turn is in Rohini with Nakshatresha Chandra. Chandra is also Baddhakadhipathi for Vrishchika together with speech Karaka Buddha who is neecha in Meena. Buddha is also Lord of ashtama Sthaana. Now Both Neecha Buddha and Baddhakesha Chandra give drishti to Dwitiya Sthaana, where shani is posititioned.
Could this be the reason for her mute-ness?
As you said hearing is connected to the tritiya Bhava. We see Lagnesha Kuja is Uccha in tritiya sthaana Makara. Kuja however is in Shravana with Nakshatresha Chandra who in turn is Baddhakesha and yuti Ashtamadhipathi Buddha and having drishti of Shani. All this is in Panchama Sthaana, but panchama sthaana is destroyed as panchamesha Guru is in 6th bhaava.
Tritiya Sthaana gets drishti from shukra who is rohini (again connection with baddhakesha chandra), Ketu.
Is my analysis correct dear sirs?

Now the father is a bit more difficult. 9th bhava Mesha has Guru with uccha ravi. 2nd bhava(from Mesha) has swakshetra shukra. However Shukra is in rohini nakshatra, and Nakshatresha chandra is in 12th bhava of meena with Neecha Buddha. Meena gets drishti of Baddhakadhipathi shani.
The only drishti the second house gets is from Uccha kuja. For deafness tritiya sthaana gets 7th house drishti of Baddhakesha Shani and also of chandra and Neecha Buddha.
Could this explain the total deafness?
Is my analysis correct?

Basically what I want to ascertain is that, what combinations cause complete muteness and deafness?

Just want to update, I had read somewhere, Mooka deformities( Mookatwa) the remedy is/was gifting image/ idol of Godess Saraswati to temple/ Guru' place ( image may be in the form of silver or Gold or affected native's own capabilities can be considered as Charity donation)... Ramanan sir or Srinivasji are experts on the matters,sirs can add a sentence or two as a part of remedial measures to affected parties

here are some updates:

she had appointment with a speech pathologist and as told by my ex-wife, doctor ruled out possibility of audtism. This appointment was also followed by a blood test, result of which is still pending.

Doctor working on her eating habits and showed concern about her expression and speech and response to envioronment and sorroundings.

I have done some pariharas and had a positive dream after one homa.

May devi ma showers blessings on my daughter and she starts speaking soon.

Sorry for the delay in responding your query as i was out of station for few days.

In ur query u have not given the placement of GURU , Chandra and combustion of any graha. Since Shani is in Mithuna rashi , i believe this is 1974 horoscope where in Guru is in badakasthana ( kumba ) and 2nd lord Shukra+Lagna lord kuja is dagda/combust. Hope Budha is also not dagda ?

Any how let me explain the !st query.

When u analyse any Vichaar, u must carefully see 3 important things.
1) U should see the Bava of the vichaar u analyse. Here u r analysing the speech vichaar. Therefore u should see the 2nd house. ( U know better than me )
Ketu is in 2nd house--the house of speech, kutumba, money, basic education. Ketu is aghaath karaka, karaka for dumb, kroora speech and No 1 kroora graha among navagrahas. Since he is aghaath karaka and a malefic planet , he will give aghaath to 2nd house. Naturally the 2nd house became balaheena by the presence of most malefic planet Ketu.

2) U should see now the Rashiadipathi of 2nd house. Shukra the lord of 2nd sits in 8th, the house of prathibandaka sthana or dusthana along with Rahu and Ravi. I believe Shukra is dagda here. 8th is Mooka rashi and also vrischika rashi ( mooka rashi )Shukra in papa rashi aspected by speechless karaka -ketu and hence the 2nd lord also became balaheena.

Pl note, wherever the Ketu and Rahu is there , the rashiadipathi will become balaheena.This is the secrete of nadi shastra.

3rdly-- Karaka Budha:- Here budha is the lord of 6th , sits in 7th along with shatru graha -kuja and sees the lagna. Budha is not having Shubha drishti nor the lagna also is not having any shbha graha drishti. Kuja sees the 2nd house along with 6th lord budha. Therefore Karaka Budha is also balaheena . ( i dont know whether Budha is also dagda ). Usually Budha becomes balaheena in sapthama sthana.

Lastly u must see Lagna and lagnadipathi shuddi. Whether anubhava ( lagna ) sthana is aspected by or having the sambandha of shubha graha ?. In this case, no shubha graha is having the sambandha to lagna or lagna lord. Infact lagna and lagnadipthi are in papa madhya.

In seeing all these we can say that the native will have problem in speech. All the 3 condition metioned above is balaheena and hence the native may be Dumb or some speech deffect is there to this native

Even though u have not mentioned about Guru and Chandra, it wont make much difference to this jataka when u know the remining grahas placement.

Pl note --- If the Karaka is balishta and sthanadipathi is balaheena , then the native will get less shubha phala.

If the sthanadipathi is balishta and Karaka graha is balaheena , then the native may not experience the shubha phala

If the Karaka , sthanadipathi is balishata and Lagnadipathi is balaheena , then the native will become incapable to experience any shubha phala.

If u refer Jagannath hora drekkana, ketu is in prathama drekkana, ketu is in vrishabha rashi which indicates the kalapurushas speech bava. Since ketu is in vrishabha drekkana, the native will have the sickness in this part of the body. This u can see during Rahu, Kuja, Ravi, Shukra or in Ketu dash or bhukthi kaal.

Kuja + Shani + Ravi in 5th-------nose problem

Kuja + Shani+ Rahu in 1,6,8,12 th---no sound from nose

2nd lord + Guru become neecha or astha and in 3 , 6, 8, 12th

2nd lord + Chandra is neecha or astha

Ravi in 2nd and Budha in Makara, Kumba aspected by Shani.

Ravi and shukra in 8th- vrischika rashi and should have the sambandha of Shani or Rahu-- throat problem

Shani, Kuja , Rahu in 3rd and lagna in these grahas nakshatra--- cannot talk.
