Shrikanthiji

tnx for the information. however, what i wanted to know was whether they indicate any artistic talent. for ex. Sun in trines in D-9 will indicate natural talent for its significations like authority, organization etc. that is the general indications. in artistic talent, Sun represents rhythym, instrumental music.

Do Rahu, Ketu, Jupiter, Saturn represent any such artistic talent? or is it only Sun, Moon, Mars, Mer and Ven which represent artistic talent in D-9?

Should the third house be taken into consideration for performing arts? The fifth house rules 'creative children' so can a connection between 3rd and 5th give us any insights? Also, connections between the 5th and 10th house maybe. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

There are so many things.

First of all Rohini Nakshatra. This place is the root of creativity.

Next look at houses 3 and 5. These are on either side of 4. Four is where the emotions are kept inside. 3 and 5 are on either side, they are how the emotions are expressed. Creativity in the sense of expressing emotions is from these two houses.

Particularly if the 11th lord / house links with these houses you have the makings of a performing artist.

Some signs carry creativity as well. Gemini, for example. Some planets - Venus is for sensual refinement, and Mercury is for sensual expressiveness.

To be an astrologer you have to be able to take all the ingredients and understand how they combine and see all the different kinds of soups and dishes you can make with the same ingredients. What I am trying to give is a reasonably good list of ingredients going into creativity. I think trying to describe all the possible recipies is just distracting.
