Please also see the sign, not only house placement. Here, Mars is enhancing the struggles in 3rd house and also enhancing the power of 6th house in friend's sign.

I never read this theory anywhere that Mars in the 3rd house will be good only if it is in an enemy sign. The opposite is true if thought of logically, though the rule says just this that malefics transiting 3rd, 6th or 11th house gives good results.

Seeing only the houses without zodiac signs is the wrong way of reading charts. A planet can't give the same effect in a house regardless of zodiac sign.

Will Mars give the same effect in 3rd in Sagittarius as what it will give in Aquarius in 3rd?

Think about it.

This is a basic rule of astrology that planet's effects change according to house and sign placements.

Mars in Sagittarius will enhance the qualities of 3rd and 6th houses - these are the negative qualities of these houses.

Mars in Aquarius in 3rd will kill the qualities of 3rd and 6th - as these houses carry enemy's zodiac signs in them i.e., Aquarius and Taurus. These are again the negative qualities of these houses.

So, Mars in Sagittarius in 3rd will be malefic for Libra Lagnas, while Mars in 3rd in Aquarius will be benefic for Sagittarius Lagnas.

This also goes well with Mars' equation with Sagittarius and Libra Lagnas.

It's not right to make a blanket interpretation of planets in particular houses without seeing the zodiac signs they are placed in. This is the error many astrologers make wile reading charts.

Saturn is too weak to give you any benefic effect. It is Jupiter who is giving you. But Saturn's aspect on your 10th and 2nd houses is not good - even if i's weak.

Yes, 3rd house is for siblings, though all siblings won't have the same Lagna.

Of course, the zodiac signs are important. I just said that the theory doesn't talk about it. I definitely consider it. Coming to Mars not doing well in 3rd house for Libra ascendant as it is a friendly sign, maybe you are right, but I am not sure, I agree with you.

K.N. Rao also says in his books that astrology is the stepping tone to spirituality, and he got more interested in spirituality later on than astrology, which is also why he wanted to give up astrology. I think there is a truth in it that astrology takes one to spirituality. When I was doing astrology, I liked it more for the spiritual essence in it than for astrology as a subject itself. I didn’t even realize it, though Anupamji—anupam1968 in this forum—did. He told me very confidently that one day I will take interest in spirituality—that was his prediction for me. And he was right.

I stopped learning astrology as I thought to myself if everything happens as per God’s will, why bother my head about what the planets are saying. I grew a kind of ‘I-don’t-care’ attitude towards life, which was mainly due to the influence of the spiritual books I read.

It is simple that if one no longer's feels any further attraction towards astrology, it can mean that astrology is like a friend who come, change, makes one's life full of excitement and then go away, only to leave one in disillusionment. These things happen yaar.

Everything in this is persihable. The richer one will soon come down and lead a life of seclusion and the poor one rise and lead a life of oppulent. A generous person will become a miser and a miser will become a generous person. A king will soon become a beggar and a beggar will soon become a King. Soon Obama will no longer enjoy Presidency, someone else will take him over soon. This cycle goes on and on and it never stops.

Destiny keeps on turning wheels when the right times comes. A younger cousin of mine is nothing talented except for his good looks and flashy lifestyle. He is not the much educated and recently opened a luxurious hangout place in a city. He lives a kingly lifestyle and enjoys everything. He is probably 23 to 24 years old. But I know time will come when he won't be enjoying this lifestyle again.

I know of a another businessman who opened a bowley alley few years back and he was rolling in money day by day. He enjoyed the best of times but now disappeared. The business has closed down. Nothing is permanent. Nothing is permanent!

How do you explain my attitude towards life? I have been through huge struggles in life and going through one even now, but the more I struggle, the more I stop bothering about astrology and remedies. It’s natural, people not bothering about astrology and remedies when passing through good times, and starting to depend on them when going through bad times, but in my case, I really don’t bother about what my birth chart says and about doing remedies, even in my tough times!

Saindhavi ji, repeatedly told me that my Rahu is afflicted in my chart, and that is why I am having struggles in my life. She also told me that the dreams of snakes are warnings for me, but that didn’t make me think even for a moment about doing remedies for them. I thought to myself, ‘Let Rahu keep troubling me, I don’t care!’ Honestly speaking, I treat the snakes in my dreams, which Saindhavi ji is calling Rahu, to be ordinary snakes.

My travel/journeys since 12th October 2012 have had lots of delays and have been very tiring. This has been a daily occurence. There's also pain in the bones. Subsequently I read on the Astroved website that this will happen to Libra rashi people during Saturn's transit in Swati (Rahu's) nakshatra.

Have any other Libra rashi people experienced the same?

I am running Mercury-Rahu dasha and Rahu is in 8th house in Taurus in my chart. Which means currently Ketu is transiting over my natal Rahu and Rahu over natal Ketu. Also Shani is transiting over my Moon which is in Swati nakshatra in my chart and also my Libra Lagna. So I suppose all those combinations are proving to be challenging for me.

2 days back I got a call from a recruiter about an opening for which I had a sudden unexpected interview in August end. That time despite good interview, I never heard back. This new recruiter decided to present me again as I am a very good fit. I got a reply from him today that my résumé is reconsidered & they will let us know in few days. HR manager is still the same person who interviewed me earlier.
In August when I posted this on a new thread, I got reply that I could not get that job which came true. Currently, I m running ve-ve-Su dasha, Su in deb in 12H from moon in transit, 9H from Lagna but will transit over natal Mo from 17th Nov. I will be changing to ve-ve-Mo dasha on 11 Nov which will remain till feb 2013, Mo is my 6th lord placed in 10H as deb.
I read on LOVA that 6th house is also related to jobs/service. Can anyone please comment on my chances of getting the same position this time. Also, I am applying for some other positions where I am quite well skilled. What are my chances of getting a job?
I am interested as its a well paying position & office is 800 ft from my house
