Btw, an astrologer I was listening to on YouTube mentioned that Libra moon signs will need to be extremely careful about their speech during this transit because certain situations will crop up that will make them extremely angry. Libra Ascendant, Capricorn Moon, Rahu malefic in chart -

Since Rahu moved into Libra last year, this has been the only good time for me when Rahu didn't create problems. I actually got some career-related benefits since Rahu moved into Libra last year.

I have been facing career-related conflicts and financial problems since Nov last year, which have intensified now. Last year they were very mild. The process began in November and now I am seeing the manifestations strongly.

When I read the Moon sign predictions for 2014 linked above, suddenly it occurred to me that it could be because of Jupiter going retrograde in November last year. That is why I supplied the link above.

In my case, Jupiter saves me from every trouble but right now since it is retrograde in 6th house from Moon sign aspecting 12th in its own sign, it is not able to correct the problems - that is my reading.

Others may enlighten me more on the impact of retrograde Jupiter.

Shilpaji has said it is cooking benefits which it will give when it goes direct. Let's hope she is right, because I am losing thousands of Dollars because of this problem. Others' opinions are also welcome about retrograde Jupiter.

Most of this year still has to progress and I have to see if I come out of my problems after 7th of March when Jupiter goes direct again. I'll come and report.

If we look at the Moon sign, then we have to see in which house retrograde Jupiter is active now in our Moon sign chart and also in which house Mars-Rahu-Saturn have joined in Libra.

For example, for Capricorn Moon sign, Libra house falls in 10th relate to career, while retrograde Jupiter is 6th, aspecting its own sign in 12th.

For Cancer Moon sign, Libra house is 4th, while retrograde Jupiter is 12th, aspecting its own sign in 6th and so on.

Please note that I am discussing Moon sign here, not the Ascendant for calculating this Gochar.

My Moon Sign is Sagittarius. So Jupiter is retrograde in 7th house and Rahu, Mars and Saturn are in 11th House (Libra). So I guess career issues will persists for some more time

Mine is Cancer Lagna and Jupiter will be in exalted state in Cancer and aspects 5th house (Scorpio) and 9th house (Pises-own house). From Lagna perspective Jupiter transit to Cancer must be good in my case. In my Natal Chart also Jupiter is in Pises. So what will be the effect when transiting Jupiter aspecting Natal ?

So in all in all shall we consider predictions based on Lagna Chart or Moon Chart. I am of the opinon that for short term we need to focus on Moon Chart and for long term on Lagna Chart. Would appreciate if you through some light on this.

This is the question I studied at some length during the beginning of Libra transit last year - whether we should consider Moon chart or Lagna Chart for transit.

It had appeared to me that in some cases the Lagna chart worked and in other cases the Moon chart worked.

The link I have posted above studies the Moon Chart for transit - as the classical texts suggest. So, read the predictions on that link following your Moon chart and see if it matches your life.

Only after you post your observations here after reading that link can we arrive at some conclusion.

In my own case, Capricorn Moon sign prediction for this current transit as given in that link seems to work well.

One more thing I have noticed other than anger. I have become strict. I just snap back at people, even for the smallest reasons, which is very unlike me. I think it is Mars in my ascendant in transit now and me running Mars pd, too.

Yes, Jupiter's aspect on the 6th house could be the reason as you have mentioned, but I am seeing this effect since last one week. Before that I was quite fine. Health issues are not there now that much. But thank you for the prediction. It's nice of you to say something on my chart in terms of the current transits.

Yes, it is good that you have nothing bad to say about Rahu now. But when I think of it, I find it amazing, that Rahu has not done damage in your case as I talked to quite a few Libra ascendant people and they had all some trouble or the other due to Rahu transit on their ascendant.

Rahu's Libra transit has certainly been good for my career. My life in fact has never been so trouble-free as since Rahu moved into Libra last year. For once people were not stabbing me in the back - a characteristic of malefic Rahu.

As I said, in my Moon chart, Libra falls in my 10th house of career, so my Moon chart reading matches with this.

Now I have been facing troubles only since Jupiter went retrograde. Since Mars has move into Libra - my 10th house in Moon chart - well, it has made me bold in taking career-related moves in trying to sort out my career-related problems that I have been having since November - again Moon chart prevails.

So, you need to look at Libra Ascendant people's Moon charts to understand this situation better.

You can compare this with the period between 14th of May 1994 to 5th of December 1995 - when Rahu was in Libra last time. You can see how your time was during this time.

In my case, this was my Rahu Mahadasha period. And I got some financial benefits during this period, which allowed me to go forward in my career - again Moon chart signification. So, I think we need to study the Moon chart and see which of the two charts really applies for transit.

But Jupiter Mahadasha, combined with the fact that Jupiter rules your Lagna and 10th house and also your Rashi, retrograde Jupiter should cause heavy impact on your career. You should describe here how your career has been since November, so that we all can understand the impact of retrograde Jupiter.

Retrograde Jupiter is also aspecting its own sign in your 1st house in Moon chart now. I believe you should be transiting through job now and when Jupiter becomes direct on 7th of March, you'll reach a better position.

Mars conjunction with Saturn-Rahu in 11th house in Moon chart aspecting your 5th house in the own sign of Mars should actually give you financial gains through bold measures, perhaps taking strong stands and should also give you an unconventional romance!

That’s a very good point you have made that we have to see whether the transits are working from the ascendant or from the Moon. In your case, from what you are saying, it definitely shows that the transit of Rahu has been working from Moon and not from the ascendant.

In my case, I am sure it is working from the ascendant as the whole of last year I had health issues though nothing serious and then there was a restlessness in me which is so typical of Rahu. The interesting thing is it has changed me a lot as a person from what I was. I could see the transformation happening in the second half of last year and now I am seeing it more and more.

Now, when you tell me about the last transit of Rahu in 1995, yes, it was very similar then—a change in my personality just like this time. Health issues I had then or not I don’t remember now. I was in school then.

I will check the charts of other people who have Libra ascendant to find out whether the transits have had their effect on them from ascendant or Moon.

I thought about your report above. Have a look at your Moon chart for current transit -

Exalted Saturn has a malefic aspect on your Moon sign in 1st house in your Moon chart. Besides, exalted Saturn is also aspecting your natal Moon in your 1st house in Moon chart.

I think this has contributed to the health and mind-related problems that you talk about.

Saturn is a slow planet and takes a while to give effect. By the time exalted Saturn began to give effect for you according to what I say above, Rahu had also moved into Libra. This is why you are getting confused about Libra Rahu's effect on your Lagna.

But I think it's exalted Saturn's aspect on your 1st house in your Moon chart.

This is complicated by the retrograde Jupiter in your 12-6 axis in Moon chart.

Exalted Saturn aspecting your 1st house in Moon chart can also have personality-related impact, especially because it aspects your natal Moon.

Besides, calculate where your natal Rahu-Ketu axis lies in your Moon chart and what kind of impact exalted Saturn's aspect will have especially on your natal Rahu - you need to see whether it is malefic in your Moon chart.

It is not Libra Rahu in Gochar; it is a whole lot of combinations together.

Libra Rahu in a Kendra house is benefic - it shouldn't give malefic effect. Exalted Saturn can give an adverse effect on your Moon sign. As for others reporting health problems in this Saturn-Rahu's Libra transit, see their Moon chart to confirm.

Thank you so much for checking my chart and writing in details, sharing your thoughts. It’s very interesting, what you have said. I never thought that way. Yes, it is very true that Saturn is aspecting the Moon ascendant and also the Moon in my Moon chart. It is quite damaging, that.

Actually, there are so many factors involved that it gets confusing. Honestly speaking, things started getting difficult for me from August-September 2012, but instead of connecting it with Saturn, as you have said, I connected it with my Mercury AD, which started in July end. And then, things got really bad from January 2013, and then, I connected it with the Rahu transit.

Moon is with Rahu in my natal chart, so my Moon is badly afflicted and Saturn’s aspect on my natal Moon and Rahu is definitely negative for me, I am sure. Jupiter’s being in the 12th house from my Moon may have made matters worse. I am not taking into consideration the Jupiter factor because things have been horrible since January 2013 and Jupiter was in my 11th house from Moon till July 2013, I think. But it is true that second half of 2013 was more difficult for me—especially October onwards. At that time it was Moon PD running, which was very difficult for me. Sorry, I am maybe confusing you, bringing in the AD and PD angle to it when we are discussing transits here, but the thing is I am just sharing the way I analysed my chart when trying to figure out the reason for the difficulties that I had in 2013.

But the points you have made are quite true. And they definitely make a lot of sense.
