Charts for education and profession

Hi everyone ,
The idea of this thread came out of a discussion in the chatroom.
I want to start this thread so that it acts as a learning experience for all astrologers for predicting education and profession.

Following are the data we want :

1) Educational Qualification ,along with year of graduation etc , mention of the specific degree BE , Bsc etc would be even better
2) Any post graduate degrees , Msc Mtech etc , with dates
3) Phd if applicable and the borad area of research , with dates
4) Job and type of Job along with the dates
5) Mental Inclination , as opposed to actual area of work
6) Breaks in education and duration and dates
7) Career break along with duration and dates
Change of field in job , say from IT to management , Manufacturing to IT , IT to business etc

Best would be if someone can give a chronology of events in terms of education and job.

If birth details are available then great . If not then a snapshot of D1,D9 , D10 and D24 would be great.

We want to use this data to be more accurate in predictiong professions and educational qualifications.

Please find my details below,

No breaks in eductaion whatsoever starting from 1st grade all the way thru MS;
Under graduate degree (BE in Computer Science)-2003, in India
Graduate Degree (MS in Computer Science)-2005, in USA

First job- August 2005;Number of changes in place of employment and employers; it would take a lot of time to list all of them here.

Nature of job- Software Engineer, no change in choice of career since then;

Have absolutely no job satisfaction in my chosen field of career as my mental inclination is towards jobs relating to people and making a real difference; I dont think I have the attitude for computer related stuff; just doing for the sake of doing and off course for moolah. In IT field, I do not get a chance to be with people that often and dont feel like I am contributing enough.

Whenever there has been a chance to interact with people extensively at my work place, I have thoroughly enjoyed it and been very productive and mentally happy during such times.

Mental Inclination- jobs involving co-ordination, managing people and attention to detail; people oriented jobs interest me rather than computer job which is a loner job. I would like to know the astrological reason for such a mental inclination.

B.Sc (Maths)in 1986 April

parents don't want to send to other city for post graduation . After convincing my mother

did M.Sc ( Applied Maths)in 1990 February
then M.Phil in 1992 October And joined in Ph.D but didnot finish due to personal problems.

No job until 2005 , got so many job offers as lecturer in Mathematics,but didnot work. Now I am working part time in railway ( 16 Hours a Week).
P.S. I am not mediocre student , but got good grades from my L.k.G to M.Phil.

This is an interesting topic for discussion.

I would like to share my data:

B.Com in 1996

CA in May 1997 (all in first attempt with rank in CA Foundation)

I was interested in Engineering but since father had CA practice I also went for commerce.

Practiced as CA from 1997 to Sept 2001

From Oct 2001 I entered into partnership business of giving heavy earthmoving machines on rent for infra projects.

In May 2007 did the business on my own. Also entered into import in March 2010.

Currently in this business and having a lot of satisfaction as compared to the CA profession.

Hi Hina,
Yes that was the original intention.
I was thinking along the lines of - if i get say n charts of B Com , n charts of B Sc , n charts of B E , and so on then it makes sense ....because then only we can detect some pattern in it ....
This would be a bit long drawn...but this is the basic intention. Let's see...

This is a good initiative. But, there is an excellent book by Naval Singh I think (Planets and Education), a student of KN Rao (I might be wrong with the name, author). It is one of the best astrology books that I have read coming out of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (note: I do not know the author, nor am I related to BVB or KN Rao). Good luck with your initiative. But I do not think you will prove or disprove anything with your study. At best it will be some post-mortem of charts after seeing their pattern, based on internet native data...

In statistics - one can never prove anything. They can say the the drug is effective with a confidence interval of 95% and the explanation that statins will reduce cholestoral ...etc.

Drawing parallels here - Samething with yogas in astrology. There is always a chart that will not fit. But if one can explain with 1000 charts, controlling for other variables (dasha, lagna and 5th lord for example) and then do a multiple regression (using SAS or SPSS) then there is some validity to research. Otherwise it is just tabulating results as in many many books, which means nothing...but useful anyway directionally.

The book by Col AK Gour on Professions covers many areas /professional inclinations also.

Following is my data :
BE (Computer) - May,2007 (Year of Graduation)
First Job (MNC, IT ) - 18 June 2007 (joining date)
Second Job (MNC, IT ) - 29 March 2010 (joining date, got good hike (salary))
Third Job (MNC, IT ) - 14 February 2011 (joining date, got good hike (salary))

There are no gaps in career or education.

Mental Inclination , as opposed to actual area of work :

In nov-dec 2007 , I realized this is not the job i wanted to do in my life.
There use to be lots of politics and mental stress at work place since i started my career, money was not the reason for job change, I wanted good environment to work.
I got good money but environment in all companies was same.

Planning for a job change now
Will update this post if I change a job..


I wanted to do MBA and I was also preparing for CAT in 2008 but i left studies because my blood pressure started fluctuating.

Finally I came to know that I had thyroid problem. And still now my BP is not stable so I am not thinking about further studies.
