After all this conversation you tell me you both are in different countries and it is actually she who won't take this bold step.

See the first mistake you made was to go into astrology when both of you had decided to marry and her family had agreed for marriage. You should have told her family that everyone was willing for marriage, so you won't consult astrology, you will go ahead and get married without consulting astrology.

Anyway, I looked at both the charts. Without matching gunas etc, you are supposed to have a love marriage. You have a slight Manglik condition, but it is being countered by Saturn. If this was the reason the astrologer said the charts don't match, tell her father that your Saturn is protecting you from Mars and the Manglik Dosha shouldn't materialise. In any case you are 28 now.

Hanuman Puja daily will keep you protected. So, her father should not worry about this.

In her chart, it is exactly opposite - Mars is facilitating her marriage while Saturn is blocking her marriage. Saturn rules her family and kins. Hence, there will be problems from her family in her marriage. In every period of Saturn she will face marital problems.

The good part is that Jupiter is giving her love marriage. So, if she propitiates Saturn, she can go for this marriage. Again, daily Hanuman puja for her and charity work to poor, handicapped, orphans, labourers etc on Saturdays will help.

She also has Ketu blocking her Bhagya. Ganesh or Goddess puja for Ketu will help.

So, by regularly doing all this for the rest of your life and by constantly reminding yourselves that you have to make this match, not break it, you both can have a marriage.

Tell her father that with these regular pujas and charity you can marry.

you say you are a beginner, but you read a chart like an expert!

Please do study Tianakola's example closely.

I understand that as a well-wishing father you of course want the best for your daughter. That is why you would rather like to see her Rahu in 6th than in 7th.

But I would say it again, don't take Rahu lightly. Do the necessary pujas for it and it should be fine, especially because Rahu is weak in her chart.

I stress on this because she is most likely to marry during Moon-Jupiter period. But before reaching Jupiter's sub-period, she has to cross Moon-Rahu period. Of course, Rahu being weak in her chart, it won't cause any serious harm. But as I said, don't take Rahu lightly. You can never be sure about Rahu.

As for Mars, don't worry about it. It's not malefic in her chart.

Thanks for the compliment but I am only a learner and I am standing on the shoulder of giants in this forum who have so many examples that I can learn from. I am not taking Rahu lightly for I have seen the first effect of Rahu on people around me. I will take it even more seriously since he is in the cusp of 2 diametrically opposite Rasis. Along with what Ramanan-ji has guided, I will have her learn some kava ham and visit Subramanya next time I am in India.

Things have always started off positively for me, but at the last moment, marriage has not come about.

Her husband's details: 5th Nov 1953; 5.00pm at Chennai

They are married for the last 29 years and have 2 sons. They were a loving and compatible couple inspite of his bad habits (drinking, gambling) and hence minor arguments. But for the last 2 years, his habits has affected his health (he had a heart bypass surgery and still continues with his habits) and this is causing major arguments between them for everything.

My sister had always dreamed of a nice husband - who will be very affectionate and caring. Now she is very disillusioned and wonders why her husband has turned like this.

Please let me know when he will get rid of his bad habits and he will be affectionate to my sister as before. Also, his health concerns and financial postion.

Dear Richa,

The native at present is running saturn/venus.Saturn placed in the seventh afflicted by the nodal axis and so is the kalatra karaka venus placed in lagna.But having said that both are in vargottama which is actually very good.

The lord of the second house is exalted in rasi and aspects the second house which is a good combination to sustain a family.

The main problem is the 7th lord of navamsa moon placed in the second.Hence i asked her to chant the stotra to propitiate moon.In transit, saturn is transitting the 8th from lagna and 4th from moon.
Let us wait for saturn to leave virgo and see if there is any improvement.

I still feel that this marriage may not break as i am pinning my hopes on exalted jupiter the lord of second in the rasi chart but here also jupiter occupies the scond from moon sign as lord of the 7th from it which is not favourable.


As an additional propitiation ask her to do archana to lord ganesha with dhurva grass.Things may improve.

Any way ask her to hold on atleast for six more months before giving up..

Dear Nivedita,
Pls ask your sister to be patient for one more year. The dasa is of Ketu and ketu is in the 5th afflicting the moon. In transit, also both rahu/ketu and saturn and also Jupiter are ill placed. By next year end, the dasa of Venus will start who is the lagna lord aspecting lagna. Ask her to pray to Lord Muruga on a daily basis and observe fast on sashti thithi.

I am having a hard time figuring the married life of this guy. Any help is deciphering the results will be very helpful. 27-nov-1975, 8:43 AM, Lucknow.
My analysis shows a lot of challenges.
Ve is debiliated in D1, it is under severe kalatra curse from Mars and Sa.
7L Me is combust in 12H.
In D9 gemini lagna in Ra and ke axis. D9 lagna lord Me exalted but with with Sa.
in D9 7H lord is Ju, debiliated and retro in 8H.

This point to an un-supportive spouse and marriage under stress.
Please let me know what you think, currently it is going fine, they have some verbal differences but nothing has been serious and they both love each other.
What is the source of strength of this marriage, why do they still love and want to live with each other?
I am really intrigued.

I will try and point out a few positives in this chart.

1...Venus though in debility is in a kendra to both lagna and jupiter.

2 The sign dispositor of venus is combust which can weaken the debilitation.

3...Lagna lord as well as jupiter aspects venus.venus influenced by jupiter is excellent for conjugal life.

4..The chart has a fantastic pancha maha purush yoga and a dharma/ karmadhipathi yoga.

5...the mutual placement of LL and 7th lord in both rasi and navamsa

6...jupiter though in debility in navamsa is the seventh lord in the second to seventh sustaining the seventh..

7...The second house of family is aspected by both the lord of second and also a benefic for this lagna Mars.

8...Three planets retrograde make the chart powerful...

9...The dasa is of RAHU who is very well placed in the 11th..

I think one important point is 7H lord Me is exalted in D9 in kendra. This gives it some strength.
