You have made relevant observation about ashtakvarga,I checked my own and found that I have more points in 6th house than ascendent,it indicates,inter alia struggles and oppositions,so acute that sometimes I suffer despite the best of intentions.

Every conjunctionm has some positive and negative effects too subudiravium,that person I know personally since about last 15 years,he has aries lagna and mars- saturn in 6th (aspected by jupiter too),yes the yoga is kind of protective influence for him but the inherent nature of mars and saturn does not permit him to live a haapy life.It is like keeping ice and fire together.

found about 6th house explanation is good. If you all the dictums apply in my chart then i can be the king and victory over enemies.
All the matters related to 6th house whether it is aspect or exchange or benefic or malefic. 
1) Asc lord and 6thlord exchanging their place.
2) sun, mer, ketu in 6th house. (All melific in 6th)
3) Jupiter, Mars and Rahu aspecting 6th from 12th. (benefic aspect on 6th)
Another chart, where moon is exalted in Asc.(she has tauras asc)
6th and 8th lord exchanging place (again here benefic planets exchange)
11th lord in 6th house again it shows victory over enemies.
Jupiter, sun and mercury placed in 6th house. ( benefic placed in sixth its good moreover icing on the cake sun is debilitate which is also good as per mahesh ji.)
So if we apply these dictum i wil become king and she is queen.
Anywy apart from joke,

"Ussually, if the 1st lord is stronger than the 6th lord, the native will defeat his enemies. Therefore, a weak 6th lord is preferred. On the other hand, a strong 6th lord means that the native has strong enemies. Therefore, either the 6th lord should be afflicted by malefics, in which case the malefics will confront the enemies or the 6th lord should be aspected by benefics, in which case the enemies may be pacified through truce. However, if malefics afflict 6th lord, it may give ill health. Therefore, benefics aspect on the strong 6th lord is better. "

I have debilitated mercury in my 6th house of Pisces and I have won most of the competitions just like that without much efforts during my school and college days. Infact mercury being my 9th and 12th lord should have made me a dull student, but I was not as dull as I expect it to be and though not a topper in class , I had been good at studies and pretty sharp too.
Main thing is if there is any contest and I participate in it , I definitely win it most of the times

Not exactly the debate competition . It's like in athletics and sports, inter-college essay writing like that. Even if the competition that is unannounced and conducted immediately, I have won it.

No wonder debilitated mercury in 6th has given you easy victory over your competitors. Whether 12 house significance suffer needs to be analyzed thru chart. There are no thumb rules in astrology, many factors needs to be taken into consideration.
