It all depends on the rapport u have with ur employer and also the category- EB2 or EB 3 u are applying for...Both categories have a long waiting period esp EB3 category..so the earlier u apply the better it wud be

I think you will stay there until about the end of 2012.

that said please do not stop yoursefl from applying for Green card because of anything I write.
